Bought the same item in Aldi (Hatfield) for £3.49 8 weeks ago. Keep an eye out on their "specials" and go bananas
We have this. Sometimes it takes some time to get the bunch positioned & settled without the holder tipping. And the same thing hsppens when you snap one off. So sturdyness is not the best but probably fine for bunches that have small-medium sized bananas. For large size it's annoying tbh

Sorry voted cold as I bought one from Aldi last week for £3.99 normal price.
There's always money in the banana stand

Did notice it was a liitle awkward getting the bananas to hang on it and that was small ones.
We have one, it's fun, but yeah, for big bananas it's more of a pain than anything!
I have this cute little fella too

In case you didn’t know - always best to keep bananas separate from other fruits. As bananas ripen they release ethene (ethylene), which causes other fruit to ripen more quickly. Incidentally, same logic applies to apples, kiwi fruit, and some other fruits.

I use this to ripen my fruits faster
always best to eat the fruit at its ripest riiiight before it starts to go bad
thinking of using this as my headphone holder. Is it heavy enough that it be practical for thar purpose?
I store my bananas in the refrigerator.

R.I.P. Fruit Bowls
Racist filth. Should be banned
No good for only 1 banana
Out of curiosity I was wondering how these things hold the last banana?

they dont
If it's tipping over like those state above you could always use it as a kids headphone stand for the game console or PC.

Ideally you should only do that when they're ripe

That is my favourite comment on this site.

They should be eaten not stored...

Well I'll be damned, I've been using bananas wrong all my life then!
Where’s the deal?
What if I only have one banana
mad_design_man05/03/2020 07:17

Why?

It's a stereotype. Not all monkeys like bananas, some of them like coco pops. Or PG tips. I'm sure David Attenborough has covered it.

I don't have a really busy life, but still, I'm not sure I want to invest too much time carefully positioning and settling bananas on a banana hanger, thanks for the warning
