Been tracking these for a while, cheapest I've seen. Excellent car seat.

We've got this (the Two Tone Black model) and it's been a life saver.

Highly recommended.

Love it and with a JL 2 year guarantee, it's a no brainer.

There is a "newer" model out now, so maybe they're phasing these out, but there's barely any difference, so unless needing the absolute latest model, you won't find a better car seat for the price.

Heated.

While this doesn’t give it the best review, it’s highly rated on many other sites and Mum forums (i’m a Dad by the way).

As we’re “actual users” of this product, who’s been very happy with the sturdiness, comfort, peace of mind and features.

As much as there are potentially “better” ones on the market, which conform to even more of these new “standards”, these are extremely safe, much safer than many others also on the market.

Of course we haven’t (thank goodness) been in a crash, but I feel secure in the knowledge that this is a decent seat and quite robust.
Def recommend this. It's obviously pricey but as your toddler grows it gets increasingly tougher to position them in the usual forward-facing seats without putting a strain on your back. Missus had one in her car and I always wish I did too when I was taking mine instead.
Just bought a second. Not the easiest to swap from car to car as quite bulky. Spin function makes a massive difference for yourself and I consider it sturdy and safe for the wee one.
Ordered, thank you for posting.
Maybe this is a silly question. But as far as I can see seat is attached to base? So seems strange that you can’t separate from the base?

It’s all in one.

It's forward facing so not advisable for young children

The difference is the new one is isize compliant so has had to pass more realistic and stricter crash performance testing.
The differences may not be easy to spot as it's manufacturing quality rather then the cosmetic aspect of the design. At the very least it performs better in a side impact, though you would hope the original one exceeds the adequate performance in a 30mph forward crash and 20km rear one which is all it had to do to pass the older safety rating. With the new version you can be confident about it as isize are tested to higher speed

Agreed, although again, I’ve been very happy with this, both aesthetically and mainly how solid and robust it is.

Remember it’s also the car you’re driving and conditions, so while yes, in theory, the new one “may” provide better safety, it’s not as if this one is dangerous or less safe in a crash situation, as there are just so many factors.

The flip out sides don’t instil a vast amount of additional confidence from what I’ve seen in the pics, if heaven forbid a car slams into the side of you.

I actually prefer the placement of the turning mechanism on this version over the new one as i’m quite sure a slightly older child will be able to press the turning lever where it’s positioned on the new one and that causes concern for me.

Being hidden on this one means once locked in place, there’s no way of little one pressing it.

For the price, I repeat, it’s a quality, sturdy and safe car seat.
