Pretty much a free fiver! Although, it's not as good as their previous offer which was £15 cash back after watching 15 hours of video. Something similar to that anyway.

link not working for me

May be risky, you could try the topcashback deal instead if you are a member there, they are offering £12 cashback when you sign up to Netflix through them, and you don't have to make any payments to Netflix to receive it.

If you have already been with Netflix before you will have to use a new email address as it's new customers only. Good luck.

Netflix is pretty awesome if you combine it with a vpn service that lets you access the uk and US library. I use unblockus

Is Netflix any better than Lovefilm Instant ?

Have to say I was appalled at what was on offer on Lovefilm Instant. I can get newer stuff for free through my Boxee

Expires 30 June so get in (fairly) quick if you want to. Heat added

How do I do this?

Can anyone comment about the quality of the viewing experience from an iPad?

Netflix is far better but like lovefilm most of the stuff on it is old.

What is quidco and why do people always get free money from them oO

The viewing on iPad is good, also streaming through Xbox/PS3 is also good. Please note if you have used Netflix before not only will you need to use a different email address but also different card as it knows from your old card details aswell.

But very hot.

Your missing out!! Get yourself a Quidco and a TopCashback account now, and when you buy anything online always click through one of these cashback websites to the site you want to purchase from. Each transaction you make will give you some withdrawable cash, it's really simple.

... and if you want you could sign up via a link I could send you and they would reward me with £10

The day these services start offering the majority of content in HD is the day I start using them. Until then, it's just not worth it.

unblock-us.com/

It costs about £3.20 a month on top of your usual netflix subscription. Can be used on tonnes of different devices

How soon after your first payment of 5.99 do you get the 15.00? Can you then just cancel with Netflix and is it instant cancellation? How is the 15.00 credited back to you?

Quidco usually takes about 2 months to get the money into your quidco account where you can then withdraw it into your bank account. Cancelling your Netflix account is really simple, and can be done online with a click of 1 button. So you can use the site for the month you have paid for it, and then just before the 2nd payment for the next month you can cancel your membership no problem.

i never even paid for unblockus - got the free trial, changed the dns on my ps3, and even after the week was up i was able to use it for months.

i stopped though - its all well and good having the US netflix, but due to the DNS settings, it means its a very weak connection and so everything was in SD for me, and Low SD at that - you get better pictures from illegal vhs rips.

when i switched the DNS address back to the UK, i was able to watch everything in HD so it wasnt a router issue as i first feared. and so ive just cancelled mine i think it ran out today after 4 months as the UK one hasnt got enough stuff id want to watch.

however im more than happy to pay 99p after £5 quidco for 1 month and then get £15 quidco.

actually you can cancel right away - the subscription still runs for the full month, for those that dont want to forget - although id leave it 24 hours before cancelling if thats the way you want to go.

also unblockus isnt the best one to use - there is another (name escapes me) that allows you to change vpn at will, so you can get access to all 10 netflix sites - us, uk, ireland, canada, russia and many others.

there is another one that i use on my laptop as its free but cant remember it now. its not amazing though, but free is free.

which is the best vpn?

oh and just to mention, the quidco t+c states 5+ hours of netflix must be watched - im not sure if thats on the webiste version, ps3/ipad etc versions or across them all - i hope its all as i only watch netflix on my ps3.

Cool, but I don't have any means of watching this on my tv so my iPad & phone would have to do I guess

That's funny because no traffic goes through Unblock US, it simply just changes your geolocation, I could watch HD before Unblock US and I could do it after. No traffic goes through it, meaning there will be no difference in speed.

Netflix has the most dire collection of films/tv known to man. I had it free, and used it maybe 3 times, and that was only to watch 10 Things I Hate About You, and Teeth. That's only because it was there, collection is so poor.

Lovefilm instant any better? Got a free trial but not sure if it's worth the effort??

If you've got a free trial how much effort is it really? You only live once.

Just joined through quidco. Thanks

Like someone else said, this isn't how DNS works. Something else must have been behind your connection suffering.

DNS just tells geo-specific websites like Netflix and Hulu, etc, that your machine is located in a different place than it actually is. That's all it does. It doesn't intercept or relay any other data so your connection speed isn't affected at all.

I've had Lovefilm instant and got Netflix at the moment and tbh neither of them are amazing but Netflix beats Lovefilm hands down both for choice and for viewing quality.

might give it a bash

If anyone's interested in getting the US library, you can always use Tunlr, it's exactly the same setup as UnblockUS in that you just change the DNS settings on your console/PC but it's free to use: tunlr.net/
This is a really good deal, however I'm pretty annoyed though, I went for the £7 cashback deal for the free trial on quidco a couple weeks ago, don't suppose anyone knows if I can get this version of the cashback deal instead?

i got £15 pound for watch 5 hours of video a few months ago that was a good offer but this isnt bad either 2 months for 99p

I just signed up for free trial a couple of weeks ago for £7 quidco. I guess I should have waited. Oh well.
