Subscribe today for just £1 for 3 issues (UK Direct Debit only). If you don't like what you see, simply cancel before your 3rd issue and pay not a penny more! But if you want to continue after your 3 issues for £1, your subscription will automatically continue until you decide to stop at just £21 every 6 issues(a saving of 30% on the cover price). If you prefer to pay by credit card, no problem! Pay just £52 for a whole year (13 issues) saving 20%.

I have listed the terms and conditions in the header, as with all trial magazines that are direct debit this applies, simply done either by calling your bank after payment is taken, or even easier cancelling the direct debit through online banking.

Please lets not turn this thread into a smartphone war, the magazines are what are on offer, one covering all aspects of smartphones, the other Apple. The choice/s are up to the buyer.

I had a similar deal for "How it works" magazine. Cancelled the DD after the first issue and never got the other two issues. Will cancel this DD the week before the second debit is due.

3 issues of either magazine which are published monthly.

When to cancel, that is up to you, obviously not before the £1 direct debit has been taken out of your account else you will not be honouring any contract to start with!

If you want to continue with the subscription because you like the magazine in question, do nothing, if not then cancel your direct debit before the due time of the next DD.

Inadvertently ordered both, but have received only one confirmation email.

The problem that all 'paper' publications have is that 'going to press' makes them all 'historic'. Most people gather their news in electronic format now and if you're a techy you're likely to be reading the blogs, review sites, etc so you're aware of all new apps, smart phones etc coming out.

Having said that, I'm voting hot as although I subscribe to quite a lot of blogs, tech sites, I do like magazines... probably my age showing!

With increasing cost of magazines as late, and the increasing number of internet sources for material as you say, there is bound to be a decline in magazine sales and I am sure one of the reasons in recent years why these offers are plentiful.

Like yourself though, I do like having a magazine once in a while, it is refreshing to read without staring at a computer screen kicked back on the sofa.

I've still had nowt through from these
