Join The Gym (WEALDSTONE) for only £12.99 per month, no Joining Fee. 24 Hours Gym Opening in July 2015

I was just looking at gyms in North West London, when I was surprised to see that The Gym are opening up literally at the end of my road in Wealdstone in the summer. This is actually rather handy for folk on the outskirts of Northwest London too, as it is only five minutes from Harrow Wealdstone station, so for folk in Milton Keynes, Tring, Watford, etc, may find it handy to pop in, then get their fast train to Euston, etc.

They often have these special offers before they open up a new gym, usual price would be about £18/ month, or so, with a joining fee.
Good basic gyms, with 24 hour access.

Address is 35-43 High Road

Yeah

heat given to my fellow local. Finally a gym at Wealdstone and
not to to be restricted to Harrow Leisure Centre. Im 5 minutes away and so brilliant deal for me.

Think it might be the same place where Inshops used to be.

I think so.

I have been impressed with Harrow Leisure centre the last year or so though, had a big refurb, sauna, very good treadmills etc. I do like the 24 hour access thing though, and i tthink this is in a great location, for transport, etc, could be popular i reckon.

SuperEd

is this going to be near the inshops?

agreed but month fees are £45 and so gave up and decided to use the pay as you go.
This £12.99 a month will be a right bargain. Great location but the high street has been slowly dying.
Hopefully this will bring the people back.

checked the streetview and it is where inshops used to be.

This is fab news as I'm on Wellington Road, so it's spitting distance and will save me a £10 on my current subs at the Centre in South Oxhey. You've made my day

If you want sum I'll give it yah!!

SuperEd

thanks

And I wouldn't be surprised if Gordon did turn up, especially as he's now a local celeb ;-)

I joined the North Harrow one when it opened, not bad, but whoever the architect was needed a kick up the bum. Big glass windows facing directly into the sun when on most of the treadmills, unbelievable.

I think i am right in thinking that the Wealdstone One will be facing away from the sun.

He actually is a good representation of the area, unfortunatley.

I only joined the Centre in S/Oxhey as it's where I work but it is really looking sorry for its self now. Does this mean that the Asda store I heard was opening has fallen through then I wonder? Not enough room for both surely!

I went to school with him at Mountview but not seen him locally for about 25 years. I can't really see a gym being his style...unless it has a bar!

Was he any good at football ?

Nope, very rarely there tbh! ;-)

Haha, doesnt sirprise me.

Have some heat - Pure Gym are doing £10.99/month no contract deals atm....

I do not fallow any of comments but heat for picture, who is that geezer?

Just signed up but they seem to have the dates mixed up as they said the first payment is
an instant payment and direct debit starts from next month. Gym is not even opened yet.

Will call them tomorrow and sort it out.. but Im a Wealdstone Gym member.

Wonder if it's because you can use any of their gyms once you've joined?

If it's like Pure Gym you'd pay first payment now and then DD would start August.

Restricted to your home gym at the discounted prices.

I didn't chose that option but think that was just administration as got an email about the debit debit and no dates
mentioned.. just that payment will be taken off once the branch opens up.

the £12.99 price will be there for 12 months and then increase to £16.99 which will be the rate
for lifetime unless I cancel. I guess the £16.99 will be rate when gym opens up.

look on youtube for the wealdstone raider

heads up this gym is likely to be absolutely packed when it opens as everyone will jump at the price. long queues for equipment etc

Just visited. Viewing only this weekend and Monday. Opens 13th July. Kicking myself cos it's been up at £10.99 a month for ages. Now it's £12.99 and staff said it's going up when it's opening. I think the joining fee is payable now. Anyone know how to get it cheaper? Sure there's a few deals.
