RECALIBRATED CHAOS.

One of the game's fiercest competitors, triple-double dynamo Russell Westbrook has the motor, muscle and mentality to match his fearlessness—with the stats to back it up. The Jordan Why Not? Zer0.3 is tuned for Russ' on-court chaos, featuring a midfoot strap for lock-in and a large cushioning unit to help drive him hard and fast towards the basket.

Responsive for Russ

Designed specifically for Russ, the large Air Zoom Turbo unit in the front of the shoe is curved to follow the foot's natural shape. As he charges down the court, the cushioning engages at different points for a continuously responsive sensation.

Locked In and Stable

A clear, adjustable midfoot strap fastens in one fluid motion to help keep you stable and locked in over the footbed.

Signature Details

The split outsole, jagged design lines and clashing mix of materials are distinct to Russ' signature line. Other embellishments include light-shifting accents and an exposed factory size tag visible on the bottom of the shoe.

Keeping Chaos Under Control

The rubber outsole is split into 2 sections to help reduce weight. Multi-directional traction helps you stay in control while unleashing chaos on the court.

More Benefits

  • The dual-layered textile material is lightweight and breathable, with areas of open mesh to expose underlayers.
  • Rigid, moulded plastic piece between the 2 outsole sections provides structure and support.

Product Details

  • Reinforced toe
  • Plush, padded collar
  • Colour-shifting details
  • External factory size tag
  • Colour Shown: Black/White/Metallic Gold

Not on a basketball court. These are excellent performance shoes. I'd snap them up in a heart beat, but not sure when I'll get a chance to actually use them in the near future :-(

I've played basketball 20 years and always found Jordan shoes to be more fashion trainers than a proper boot that wraps well around the ankle.

EDIT: I will wear them for fashion however!

I have 3 different pairs of them already

So....

FIRE!!!

Fire? I don't understand.

I've been playing for over 30 years, and still do so regularly today. Some Jordan shoes are for fashion (e.g. Jordan Future line), and some for performance.

These are designed for playing in, as this review shows you:

Last Jordan brand shoes I had were the Superfly 3 (Blake Griffin). The sole cracked across the ball of the foot after about a year, which was not good. But I got them super cheap at the time, and moved onto Hyperdunks. I currently play in Adidas crazy explosives (Boost is life).

I generally always play in hi-tops, but recently, have found them to become increasingly uncomfortable causing blood flow issues, so have been considering trying a lower shoe. These seem to fit the bill (on paper anyway- free returns help!).

Obviously these can also be worn for fashion. Each to their own.

OK if you have been playing 30 years then you have to agree that a classic trainer like an AND1 Tai Chi is really a baller's shoe and an inexpensive one at that. Nike has had some shock horror stories as you've posted, both with their shoes and their apparel! Due to a bad knee I had to retire from the sport, but I had an excellent LeBron trainer that was the bees knees in every aspect. Grip of basketball trainers can only be exemplified if you play on a properly cleaned hardwood surface.

In general, I've bought AND1 trainers in the past and they've always been stellar and reasonably priced.

Never had any And1's so can't comment. Don't sports direct sell those now? If that's the case, then I defo won't be buying. I'll take your word for it. If you have a good deal, post it.

I had pair of Lebron Soldier 10s (3 straps, and very high). They were great, but ultimately too heavy, and too high.

As I mentioned, i'm not a huge fan of Nike ball shoes anymore, but the lower height of these is appealing to me. Also their customer service is excellent. I returned a pair of Hyperdunks that ripped on both shoes on the sides of the toe box within a year. They refunded me in full.

Yeah Nike has been shocking as of lately, totally agreed. AND1 is an American firm that Sportsdirect do sell, but they don't own the brand. They've been around since the 90's:

Kicks

OK I will try posting a deal hopefully it gets approved this time round
