It might be a good offer at the moment, but I got both of these for 12 pounds from amazon in July. So I'd say, if you're not in a hurry, wait and save money.

Another "smash hit" from Joseph&Joseph. A perfect fit for my "curved corner" drawers? And I have to now open the drawer all the way to get a teaspoon.

Traditional cutlery organisers, though boring, are a perfect design. Cutlery spaces left to right (which our brains are already accustomed to processing), all within equal reach. If you're lucky, you also have a teaspoon section right at the front, since we need that several times a day.

J&J are simply redesigning for the sake of it, casting aside the old design without considering whether it's actually the peak design for the function.

Arguably, their target market clearly does the same, so the ludicrous transaction is agreed on both sides. They're making money, and their customers can be smug, but slightly annoyed, every time they need a teaspoon.

The cutlery drawer part is an awful design IMO. You only see the handles, so it becomes a lucky dip as to what you extract. I even stuck bigger labels on! It also limits the amount of cutlery that can be stored compared to a conventional drawer.
We gave in and put the old one back, and we were instantly happier with it.

Why did they feel it necessary to make it out of plastic?
