my sister has these in white. they are deceiving sharp. the white ones look like plastic toys.

Do they come with a block

These knives look like they are invisible to radar!

I've bought these - good knives, no block though.

Bought the individual purple one the other day, think it's brilliant. It's got a little ridge on the side in between the handle and the blade so you can lay it on the worktop hygenically without the blade touching the surface.

(I think perhaps posting that comment means I've reached middle age early..)

Was available in the carousel block last week for £48 from Amazon. Amazing price for an awesome set of knives!

Why would they sell the set without the block? I can understand selling individual knives, but the set of knives without the block is just strange? Unless you can buy the block on it's own? Can't see it anywhere though.

Unfortunately not to my missus' radar.

I guess that's why they don't include it then, if people are silly enough to pay fifty quid for a block of plastic.

I doubt if the quality will be truly present with these knives. If you go into any canteen and many restaurants they always seem to use the same brands of knife of those the best budget brand would seem to be Victorinox. If you are paying less than £20+ quid for a fair sized blade you have little chance of it being of any real quality.

Magnetic wall rails are widely available.Ikea do a decent one for about £8 if memory serves,I have 2.

got the block and the knives (silver not black but otherwise identical) on Amazon Prime Day yesterday - arrived this morning - for £69.99. They seem nice on first inspection and cut. The Costco price seems OK but once the price of the block is accounted for the Amazon price was better.

I sell Joseph stuff and they have at least two iterations of knife sharpener which would be a good add on buy.

Quality seems good as it's very rarely returned with faults.

To the person doubting their quality - as muradxs i too got this including the block from Amazon Prime Day and i must say they are really good. Sharp as hell (compared to say.. Any IKEA/ARGOS knife sets ive had) and they are also well made. Grip feels sturdy and it doesnt look like it will go any time soon. The locking block is a bit of an annoyance when we dont really have kids around the house, but i can live with it. For £70 this set is a huge bargain. If you are not bothered to have a place to store them then CostCo set is also a brilliant price.

I was fortunate enough to win these knives in the carousel block recently. I've only taken them out of the box to examine, but haven't used them because I've already got a decent block of knives. These seem good quality though, and the elevate aspect seems a good idea.
Gonna hang onto these too use as a gift.

Or you could sell them... I'm sure someone here would be interested in a further discount especially as they come in a block (hint hint...lol)
