Product Description
Titan is no ordinary waste unit. It features a patented, hygienic compaction system that enables it to hold up to three times more waste than a similar-sized domestic unit. Because Titan compacts your waste, it does not need to be emptied as often, which in turn reduces the amount of liners you use and also the amount of full liners that you have to deal with between collections. Titan is built to last. It is compaction system and foot pedal have been tested over 100,000 times and are engineered to withstand repeated downward force. It is hygienic and mess-free too. The design ensures only the inside of the plastic liner touches the trash whilst compacting, leaving you with clean hands and a clean bin. It also features a replaceable odour filter for any unpleasant smells and a fingerprint-proof stainless-steel coating. With Titan you can compact with confidence. It has an anti-tear design that would not stretch or pinch the liner and it has its own extra-strong, custom-fit liners for added peace of mind. It is also compatible with standard plastic liners. A handy lid-stay feature ensures liner changes are quick and hassle-free, and it also includes a handle on the reverse to make moving easy.

This is how this is gonna pan out.
1. Spunk £107.99 on an overpriced bin
2. Throw out old bin
3. Break mechanism on overpriced bin after about 2 weeks
4. Buy new bin

Hopefully you'll get a refund

Interested but put off by the reviews.
I will never understand why someone would be willing to pay over £100 for a rubbish bin...

" anti-tear design won’t stretch or pinch the liner. It’s compatible with standard plastic liners but extra-strong custom fit liners are also available."
So it's designed to not damage standard bin bags but we'll sell you extra strong bags anyway ....

Well yes, why not? Of course they sell their own bags - it's a good money maker. And they fit best. So those that are willing to pay the premium can buy them.
They're not required.
Brabantia and others also sell their own big bags.

So many people always want to hate

....and for a chance to keep 3 weeks rubbish and bacterias in a kitchen. I don't know...maybe it make some sense (but I don't think so). Personally I just bought 20L one so I could use smaller bags and throw them out more often.

Because it's a contradiction. Either they've designed it well enough so you don't need extra strong bags or they haven't and you need to buy their own.
