You can buy BlackVue battery packs, or if you use the car battery you can set the cam to monitor the battery and when it gets flattened to a certain level the cam will automatically stop so you never have too little charge to start your car.

Hi, when you say separate battery, do you just have a portable power bank wired up? I'm considering the same route, was worried about the heat in the summer though

I have the BlackVue DR900S-2CH which records 4K at the front and 1080 at the rear, it also records everything even when the car is parked using a separate battery, the software and firmware get updated frequently with new features but some of the updates made things unstable so I no longer update. You can view through you phone or PC and it uploads to the cloud when it detects an impact.

Worth noting for those who want to buy the slightly cheaper Chinese language versions. I was under the impression that I could change the firmware to English and save a bit. But the voice recognition isn’t firware changeable to English on the Chinese version. Not a huge issue for me as I think it’s probably more of a gimmick.

the a118 is a brill cam, I had it with the battery not the capcitor which was its downfall. I run a a a119v2 and its fab

Slow delivery, worth the wait.

I've got about 150GB on it Adam. It's definitely a legit Sandisk card. The packaging is in chinese(and english) so it must be aimed at the Chinese market. the site to check legitimacy is an official Sandisk site.

How much data have you written on to the card so far? Have seen cards that just keep re-writing over the same 8Gb. I think these even trick that test you ran.

I recently took a risk and bought the 400GB version of this and it came in 10 days with proper packaging and a scratch off code to check if it was genuine. Working absolutely fine in my PS Vita and passed the H2testw. Bargain at £49. Also myself and others on the deal thread didn't get hit with customs even though the card was valued at 66USD on the packaging.

Samsung 128GB Micro SD Card Evo Plus £15 @ Joybuy

This has been posted many times by mods, so one would assume these are genuine, pay in dollars to bring it under that magical £15 mark.

Hehehehe, you've done well there to expire it. :-) As some 'others' when they've also Posted 'stuffs' of a similarly dubious nature, are more than aptly happy to ride the full might of that tidal wave out ... hehehehe. Like you said already, you live and learn, lol.

OK, I've expired this now, so let's all just move on :{

"This has been posted many times by mods, so one would assume these are genuine, pay in dollars to bring it under that magical £15 mark." Which is exactly why mods etc shouldn't be posting deals for fake cards. These will be fake. We all know this. :{

Ok found one review, which had the back of the card, made in Korea. Again my spider sense is tingling, are these legit reviews?. Lots saying card is genuine, were they expecting a donkey?. I would only buy from a legit source still. If anyone can buy and post up pics that be be great, to put this rest once and for all. If not I be waiting for my memory order :)

In all fairness, the positive reviews on the site by far outweigh the handful of negative reviews. Plenty of reviewers have posted images showing the status of the SD Card tested using H2testw, showing it has 119GB of usuable space. Other users show the front and back of the SD Card, clearly states it was made in Korea in one users photo, another user claims it's genuine and was made in the Philippines. That's just quickly looking through the 1st lot of reviews. That's £2 more than the £12.98 128gb SD Card Deal, which a handful of us managed to get from the "My Memory" ball's up, yesterday, yet they still honoured the deal. Don't always assume that just because it's cheap it's fake lol.

Bought two of these for 6 quid on eBay. Ok footage for the money.

Did anybody manage to order this? I enter my address but the checkout button is not clickable (Grey).

I bought one of these as a toy over a year ago. It's still working well and the videos are quite good but it won't capture number plates in a fast moving scenarios. Best to read plates for the audio track in those cases. I'm fairly happy with it but I bought as a cheap gadget and nothing else.

Was thinking exactly the same, although I have a cigarette charger in the boot so will run off that rather than a power bank

Great deal. Will use it as a rear dashcam and power it using a powerbank.

i had one had to send it off to Samsung failed to boot after 4month from new

Guys got jokes. 🤘

Samsung are pretty big, they make a few things. :D

Be careful....there's quite a bit of cheat copies of memory sticks, battery banks, SSDs etc and what you have to consider is whether the memory or battery, or whatever, is over 'stamped' with higher value labels/packaging. ie there's just a possibility that this is a 64 GB drive copy with a 250GB label. I've seen something on the TV or net recently about this....they even go as far as changing the software so that it 'reads' correctly and the only way of finding out is to check out the capacity in mAh or Gb using practical, real world methods. Bad people in crime, and some big businesses, are ruining the world......probably was always the same..... Still, Great Buy and Great Risk......probably.

I'm just wondering if the BF flood overwhelmed the post office. If so, we'll see the same again in December.

Millet smart camera small square (MI) wireless wireless WiFi network home HD monitor camera infrared night vision 1080P - £13.27 @ Joybuy
Found 22nd NovFound 22nd Nov
Nice little 1080 security camera. Ships to UK from China. has great reviews.

Maybe a silly question but, I understand that (using the Mi App) you can view the camera screen on your iPhone, I also understand that you can share that view with another device so that two separate devices can display the same view simultaneously. My question is this; can I view the screen on my iPhone AND my television at the same time? If so, how can I display the screen permanently on my tv? thanks in advance!

Is it onvif?

Is this the Xiaomi model that uses the Mi Home app? It's branded Millet.

then KNOWHOW (currys) too and I KNOWWHY, they destroyed my tv. It was an ordeal, the tv was coming back and forth with new damages until I think they must have dropped and smashed it. I was lucky to get full money back but they did not honor an exchange as it was more expensive than what I paid. Anyway, in the last recent deal I purchased 2 of these cards and can see that have already been sent, I am also confident they are 100% genuine as I purchased from others without any problems at all and also their scores are bad.

My post from the previous deal: ====================== Just received mine at work this morning. When I get home tonight I'll run H2testw overnight to see whether if it is legit. Let's hope so, as £46.92 ($66.99 - $5 coupon - $5 paypal discount) is a bargain. Edit: Ordered on 10/11/18 and received on 22/11/18. Serial/security number behind scratch off panel checks out at I was previously suspicious of the domain as the website doesn't seem to be "https" unlike, but is linked as one of the global sites on H2testw went through the night (I only had a USB2 card reader): "Warning: Only 375608 of 375609 MByte tested. Test finished without errors. You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them again. Writing speed: 14.8 MByte/s Reading speed: 17.2 MByte/s H2testw v1.4" Everything seems legit!

Has anyone ordered this and got it delivered as a result of this deal? Might consider give it a try for my dash cam.

Yeah I was... Xiaomi is a decent brand. However.. it is always best to buy UK sourced stock for Warranty, returns and the Economy. Why do you think everything is so expensive. And no they haven't always been on HUKD...

Check if these are still being sold for £20 on my memory or picstop. I'd rather pay an extra £5.... Quidco also gave £2.50 cash back bonus ~£17.50 delivered if still ongoing. Edit, think there was also some 8-10% cashback too, so less than £17 delivered!

AliExpress deals, gearbest, Toby deals, these have pretty much always been on HUKD and you're not complaining about them. Same goes for Xiaomi, it just entered the UK market last week...

Yes, few weeks now, 3 items ordered, still waiting for an indication somethings even posted.

I needed to download a second mi home app I believe this is Chinese version and it works

I received mine on the weekend and I managed to set it up eventually. Just follow the instructions on the app, One thing I didn't do to start with was pressing the reset button when it asked to do as I thought the camera was already ready. I'm really not happy with the permissions that are required to set up though especially location information, that and contact info and such Why would it need these? These camera's need to be made for LAN use only, especially as this has an SD slot so can record locally. Security is very worrying. I don't think I will be using mine.

Check this.

Did you manage to collect it with you home. My speeks Chinese and can't connect it to the app

I have about ten backpacks which fold very small. They vary in styles, functions, how small & what shape they fold and quality. This is a good quality one although it does not pack tiny, but it folds flat and easy. The bulky straps are comfortable though. Received it today. Running H2testw right now. Going to take about 3 hours. There was a scratch bit for a code to enter on the Chinese sandisk site to vertify it. It said it was legit. I also changed the code to random numbers on the site and it said it wasn't a legit product. So far so good. Also didn't get hit by customs even though it was valued at 66USD. I'll report back when the test has finished. EDIT:- 1st time using H2testw so I didn't realise it takes another 3 hours to vertify the data.
