There’s a post on Facebook you can show as well so it’s open to anyone

Heat, just for saying bish bash bosh!

They do these 1p deals a lot, never quite worth just going for but always quite decent and worth it if you're going. Quite easy to spend a fiver on staples like toothpaste.

Well worth subscribing, you need to be a member but I don't think there are conditions attached, as they often do other deals such as 24 cans of coke for a fiver. Not as headline grabbing as the penny deal, but good prices. You also sometimes get a voucher for something free on top of all this.

Sorry pressed cold by mistake

If you want some circular argument to go with your circular argument..

B&Q sell/sold POTTED trees in EXACTLY the same red bucket; I cannot really comment on the colour this year, as I bought elsewhere, but for the last two years THEY WERE RED.

As I also said, that pot is TOO SMALL for that size of tree, it wouldnt have grown that big, even if it had left half its secondary roots in the ground, as it is the primary root that matters, and that pot is too small for the primary root to have grown large enough.

If you bought a tree of that size in that size pot, it wasnt pot grown; and if you DID buy a tree in that size pot, that WAS pot grown, it would have been smaller.

Right, going back outside; first decent snowfall here in 18 years, so getting some tobogganing time in with my youngest.

No the pot grown tree I bought last year came in a pot like that. The pot …No the pot grown tree I bought last year came in a pot like that. The pot is planted in the ground, and the tree seedling planted in the pot. Then when they are harvested they lift the pot cutting the roots that have grown outside the pot, but the main rootball isn't disturbed.

You just said it, "pot grown tree". The advert doesnt say that, it says "potted".

I think you are confusing which is better; a pot grown tree is most likely to survive beyond Christmas, although I have had some luck with pottedtrees, if enough care is taken in their extraction from the ground.

The first one I had survived over 10 years, and only died because it got blown over in a storm, and the roots ripped. I had upsized its pot several times, until it was ~6ft tall. My 2nd attempt never looked like it would survive, and my 3rd attempt was looking good until it got some sort of rotting infection during last summer, so I am hoping for better luck this year.

BTW, the llittle red potted trees from the last two attemots came from B&Q; this year I went to the farm, and the tree has a MUCH larger, black plastic pot.

Ok, it was about 10 years ago but it was a very nice leather wallet, looked classy and OH still uses it, it still looks great. Why do people spend over £20 on such a tiny amount of leather that costs very little to make and transport ... I'm just wondering out aloud. Ferraris do go faster than a Kia, in general, so I understand the price-difference there .. what does this wallet do that others do not?

Agree to some extent, but nowadays hard to find a reasonably good quality one for £10 even - unless you buy from a FarEast-based seller perhaps? Hopefully someone has bought one from Amazon/eBay/other UK shop recently & proves me wrong.

Still using a basic leather one I bought around 12 years back for £10 in a Next sale.

Better off just whacking your chips in the oven, cheaper too!

Better off waiting for black/white/yellow/blue Friday (whatever they're marketing it this year to trick a lot of people into thinking there's a sale on).
But anyway, the 1 think that I have noticed come up for sale are the Philips actifry.

Cheap as chips!

Rubbish.
14 units is the absolute maximum you should drink, not healthy, and 15 is excess. Alcohol full of carb, calories and triglycerides not to mention liver disease.

Sugar bad in excess, but you realise it doesn't tell you to down the whole bag in one go like you do your rum...

Maybe make some Rum instead of eating the whole 1kg bag!??
