Probably get sued by the Conservative Party for nicking their motto. ;)

Clis

Easy, just get 500 bottles 😄

trevor_cook

I work it into my shopping as its easy to spend a fiver i.e a bottle of wine for the weekend ?.

Treboeth

Perhaps HUKD should have a new section for these kind of deals. "For the Few not the Many" ;)

pennyfarthing88

These little promos from JTF are good but also crafty..so to get a 1p bottle of ketchup but it’s a minimum order of £5 at the till. Like B&Ms random 10p deals once your in store you’ll spend £20 then say but I only went in for the 10p offer - now JTF have caught on to it too.. Upside with JTF - you’ll get your ketchup but likely to pay more for other bits n bobs.. Downside to B&M - sorry that 10p offer you came in for all gone....and yet you leave £20 lighter anyway (excited)

Roger_Irrelevant

Am no expert but probably if you painted the MDF with diluted PVA it would probabky seal/strengthen it. :)

GB99

Yes I got them for 17.95 each last summer.

deanos

I have these shelves, thee ones in the garage have not gone moldy, but i had one in the shed and it went moldy, im sure they have been cheaper though

GB99

Yes I need to do something. Once the weather warms up I can clean them up, dry them out and either paint or creosote them.

patrick_000

What about giving the MDF shelves a couple of coats of paint? That should stop the absorption of moisture?

Too true. I mean I started to pay more attention to the sugar and calorie levels. Crazy. I think Tango or Schweppes Lemonade is healthier alternative if you can stomach it.

Orinoco1

JTF are over rated - price always looks good until you realise that you need to add the VAT on, whereby it is the same cost you get it elsewhere anyway.

enobano

Too bad they never have these deals for healthy drinks or even water

jamesWHUFC

Ah yes, the well known JTF shops. I guess my nearest is 300 miles away.

Post it as a deal m8 (nerd)

clairlh88

Okay, I really don't think it's that big a deal. At the end of the day, if people want some cheap garden furniture and don't like this design then there's the wowcher one with the same items but in another design. I just thought it was worth mentioning.

deanos

the wowcher one is a steel frame wrapped with pieces of plastic wicker type stuff, the keter is solid plastic totally different

clairlh88

Yes, but still two chairs, a two seater and a table. That is why I said a similar set is available for the same price on wowcher

Common.Sense

It does not mean incorrect use is correct and errors should not be pointed out. "I do not know nothing", is still ignorant and wrong. Do you accept it is incorrect to "pluralise" a brand name? Yes or No.

qbs

In case you hadn't noticed, language is dynamic. You, on the other hand, seem to be stuck in a box of meaningless self imposed rules.

Common.Sense

Demonstration of anger: "What a load of pedantic cobblers." Yes, I have heard speak in such a manner, and such sentence construction is wrong. The speech is based upon ignorance. It is incorrect to "pluralise" a brand name. What do you not understand? I do not understand your point. Incorrect speech, by many, does not make it correct.

qbs

Anger? Where? Merely a statement of the obvious. And you still haven't answered "Are you saying you've never heard of anybody ask for 2 Coca Colas or 2 Big Macs or 2 Pepsis or 2 Pot Noodles or any of the numerous other pluralised brand names that I could list?" "The British education system for Joe Public is so poor." And you're walking proof.

Common.Sense

Oh dear, anger, but no acceptance you are wrong.`Typical person who cannot accept he is wrong, even when the evidence is in front of him. The British education system for Joe Public is so poor.
