The Half Board will give you a choice of 40+ 5* restaurants at other Jumeirah hotels icluding some at the Burj ( usually a supplement payable ).
You also have free access to The Wild Wadi waterpark and get in before it opens to non-guests.
For £205pppn hb you could splash out on one of the one bedroomed ocean suites that also give you free limousine transfers from DXB and Club access ( free cocktails between 6pm and 8pm ).
Having stayed at this hotel many times I guarantee you will not see anywhere else with as many highly professional lifeguards. Literally every inch of the pools and waterpark are watched

£240 for one night.. that's about a months accommodation in Thailand...

I have a vague suspicion that a typical Jumeirah guest would not be entirely comfortable in such accomodation
June in Dubai? Good luck.... And I'm from the middle East!
I fear there are some over-excitable elements within the hukd community who are perhaps losing sight of it's purpose.
If you post a deal regarding rates at a Dubai hotel that are substantially cheaper than the normal rates for that time of year you are not -
1) Comparing Dubai with any other country.
2) Offering climate advice.
3) Opening a debate about societal norms or
4) Comparing the place with any other hotel.
It is simply a notification that the hotel has dropped below the usual price for that time of year.
Beyond that very simple statement of current value I have no interest whatsoever or anydesire to enter into contentious debate.

I’d rather be in Thailand for a month than Dubai for a night.

Best hotel I've ever stayed at. Paid £250pn about 15 years ago.

Obviously you need to factor in flights but still a good deal

Great deal it’s just the scorching heat during the day.

I love Dubai it’s mind blowing But a word of Caution it can hit 40 in the summer months and the humidity will definitely drain your energy

I'm guessing you've never been to Thailand. Because the standard of some hotels there are on par and sometimes better than those in places just like Dubai. I've done both numerous times and I would choose Thailand over Dubai every day of the week
Too hot in June

I know he is and that's where he is wrong. The hotels in Thailand are beautiful. There are just as many if not more nicer ones in Thailand

Thailand is much nicer than Dubai. The people, culture, prices and scenary is all unmatched. I couldn't understand why anyone would go to Dubai, especially in June where a simple walk outside in the day will leave you with an impromptu wet t-shirt contest with the greenhouse like humidity. It is an experience, a bit like Vegas, but go in October when the weather will be beautiful and the price will be doubled.

240 for a night!!! What a joke!!!! Dubai isn't that great!!! Especially in June!! I've lived there for the last 5 years! Can't wait to get out June/July/August. Can hit 50+ !!!
The meal selection was out of this world. Only hotel i ever stayed where i had everything for breakfast and i mean everything: a full english, chinese dim sum, Indian naan and kormas, authentic Japanese sushi the lot. Took the day to recover!
Hope ya'll ok with 40° heat

If it's not so great, how come you lasted 5 years already? Oil dollars keep your bank account fat with low tax to offset that boohoo?

I personally think if its a saving on what people usually pay and they're going during that month with this sorta budget or hotel type in mind, seems a stonking deal.

40 is in the evening, day time is closer to 50.
At least you can kiss in Thailand just be careful what you kiss.

The average evening temperature in Dubai in June is 28c. The average peak daytime temperature is 40c. My personal preference is June

How odd? I have a teaching friend who is a GCC resident and she thinks £240 a night hb is very cheap for the JBH, even compared to GCC rates.

But that one is not £10/night😁.

Horses for courses, I'd also pick Thailand over Dubai, but that's because there is lots to see and you can eat great food £2.. I've been to both. Can't really go swimming in the sea in Dubai then, it's too hot..

Have stayed here several times when kids were young as the water park is attached,
it is lovely but CLUB is the way to go so at least you get alcohol included and afternoon tea.

But if it was simply about posting a good price, then there would be no need to have a comments section. I've no doubt your price is a good deal for the hotel.

But equally I would question the need to spend £250/night on a hotel, at the end of the day it's a place to sleep, not live. Yes, it's people's choice how they spend their money, but I'm sure there are many on here happy to hear of alternatives. The more you earn, the more companies try to convince you to part with it in a pretence of luxury and exclusivity, there is certainly a point of deminishing returns.
Give me Benidorm

I'm fairly sure they were commenting on places for a tenth of the price in Thailand, hotels of the same standard aren't any cheaper in Thailand.

Yeah right third world cack hole. Could go to The Red Lion for sticky Bucky and get murdered by the Russian bouncers. Think I’d stick with Dubai or Thailand.
