They've been around for a while. One of the second tier Chinese brands after Xiaomi and Huawei. Generally known for fairly decent build quality (especially considering the price) and are particularly popular with Russian users.

You'd get 6 months warranty through PayPal anyway though.

The Jumper EZBooks get a good rep on TechTablets, he's reviewed a few and they've came across well. Cube were another brand Chris raved about, though not sure going by my i7 Book's tendency to overheat

Edit: That is a little unfair, I should have elaborated that Chris did mention the heat dispersion problems with the Cube i7 Book when he reviewed it

don't need but want! alas 3gb ram not enough for xcom 2... thought would be 4gb?

You do (currently) pay VAT on orders from Germany. It should be charged at your local rate at the time of purchase.

This results in no import checks.

Bit false claiming 2.4ghz on this CPU, that's the turbo speed. Normally runs at 1.1.

You'd want something more like this instead. Roughly £50 more expensive but has a better CPU and 6GB RAM. Should be able to manage XCOM 2 on Low.

That's a good thing and that's how Intel market their CPU's most of the time really.

It's an older version from the same chipset line. This one is newer and has more video capability so it should be fine.

Here's a review for the slightly older version of this which includes it running DOTA2 though and it handles it fine.

RAM no, SSD yes as long as you use an M.2 one.

You mean like this:

techadvisor.co.uk/rev…43/

FYI this is slightly (12 $) cheaper from HK warehouse using code 3SEBOOK. This code unfortunately doesn't work on DE warehouse item

No worries. The actual built in storage is on board but there's a slot that will take an M.2 drive. It's designed to use the smaller ones but you can easily fit one of the larger, cheaper and better performing ones that they sell on Amazon if you take the back off.
