The Jura E8 is a cracking coffee machine and this is a great price from AO. They've got free next day delivery and the black model is only £5 more expensive.

Wake up to the smell of freshly ground coffee with this Jura bean to cup machine. With 15 pre-programmed drinks to choose from, you can skip the espresso bar on your way to work, as a foamy cappuccino or milky latte are just the touch of a button away. The Pulse Extraction Process adds the water at just the right time too, ensuring the best flavours and aromas are extracted with every cup. And because it has a height-adjustable spout, there’ll always be plenty of room for your favourite mug. It also comes with Smart Connect technology, so you can make your coffee remotely using the smartphone app. You won’t have to worry about manually washing the machine either, as the Auto Clean Function does the hard work for you

I expect this is a great machine - jura have a very good reputation.

I have been after a jura for some time but looking at the simpler (and cheaper) a1 as I don't need anything that can make milk based drinks - just hoping someone will offer a decent deal on the a1 come friday...
Looking to get a coffee machine for Xmas. Anyone can explain what is the difference from this to 300£ machine?
Arguably nothing. Most machines at that price point will make an espresso from fresh beans and give you tha ability to heat milk.

Thereafter it comes down to style (e.g. this has a tft screen which some will value) , levels of automation (e.g. Is it a true one button machine which produces a latte (for example) without intervention from you) , customisation (e.g.change strength and store for future use), self cleaning programmes, and of course reliability.

Like most products - up to you whether you value the extras - if not, something like the esam 4200 will do you very well I would think...
I love the fact it's getting down voted despite it being the cheapest it's been for AGES.
It was £25 more expensive a year ago and got 180+ heat.

Ah well. Yes it is expensive but sometimes quality costs money.

Agreed - even though I want a jura I am not willing to pay that much - so the price must be a factor in the cold votes.

I voted hot BTW as it seems much cheaper than elsewhere for anyone that wants one..

A lot of people on HUKD will brigade posts for expensive products because they don't value them personally, which defeats the purpose of the site somewhat.

Some of us spend as much on coffee as others do on mobile phones, computer games or alcohol, each to their own!

Would quite like a Jura when our Delonghi kicks the bucket
Hi,
Thank you OP.......BTW.... Can you still get Quidco (up to 6% discount) , even when you add the BFCOFFEE10 code ? Or is the Quidco cancelled by using the code? Thanks in advance.
Well it arrived a while back and it's being replaced tomorrow. It LOOKS really good but it had damage so need it swapped out.
cracking deal, thank you OP

I paid £795 for this machine around this time last year, so this is a good price. Heat added

I bought a Delonghi ESAM4200 about six years ago for £226. It makes great espresso (it's used at least twice per day) and has a manual milk frother. It's never skipped a beat and apart from an occasional wipe down and cleaning the diffuser unit once every two or three months it's maintenance-free.

Jura makes great coffee machines though....

I've tried most of the drinks this thing can produce and I've been happy with everything. A nice bonus was the free pack of coffee and glasses that I got double of but wow I'm getting through a lot of coffee now!
Is there a difference in espresso flavour delonghi and Jura ?
