You are most welcome:-) I think they don't understand what Jura is I ordered one as well as cannot find a better deal anywehere, ebay, amazon all goes for much more... Well better for us;)
Wow, great deal. If I didn't already have a Delonghi Bean to Cup I'd be all over this.

And from JL to boot, had great experience with them when my original Delonghi started playing up and Delonghi kept sending it back un-repaired. JL eventually gave me full refund almost two years in
Thanks, ordered one after spending months looking for a good coffee machine. Hope this does not disappoint. Not sure why this is cold, used ones are selling for 4-500 on ebay, and I wouldn't buy a used coffee machine.

I picked the machine few days ago and I love it. This is my first coffee machine and I was very worried the coffee may not taste like I would imagine it but this is way beyond my imagination!

Fantastic, can't wait to pick mine up tomorrow. Are you making many with milk? Downloaded the manual and the cleaning cycle looks pretty intense

Most coffee I make is with milk. I like black coffee, however making late/cappucion is fun so don't mind it;) I have simplified the cleaning! The coffee pipes will get cleaned each time you turn off the machine, to clean the milk pipes (inc. the rubber pipe) just prep a glass of milk (not even full glass) but use clean water:) This will clean the pipes inside the machine and that rubber piper as well. At the end just flush the rubber pipe under the tap and all done.

I am lucky coz my tap water is very "soft". Inside the box you will find water tester to establish how hard it is, my tester didn't get any colour at all so I don't have to use water filters and it is very safe to use it for cleaning as no stone will cover the inside pipes:-)

Enjoy the coffee!

btw. remember to use fresh coffee beans, perfect are 8-10 days after roasting! Artisan makes very nice coffee (however a bit expensive!), you can always order online:) I picked a bag of Lavazza and it also very nice. The coffee, when dropping to a cup is gold/maple colour and it looks very creamy! I didn't try any high quality coffee yet and I am already satisfied! Something high quality probably will blow my mind :P
Ah, I got this little beauty today and set it up. So far so good, it makes a cracking cup. So much so I have hidden the kettle from the Mrs and had 4 coffees. I won't be sleeping tonight.

The quality of coffee - even from pre ground (using the xmas stash) is impressive - easily tastes like that from starbucks or better. The foam it makes is silly frothy, the Mrs has been spooning it out of my mug.

I'm going to make a milk container from a clear travel mug at some point as my biggest bug bear is trying to work out how much milk I need per cup.

I've made about 15 cups today and think within a week I will have refined my process.

Again I ask, why is this cold?
Top machine at a cracking price for a machine of this quality and functionality.

I guess the cold votes are simply down to the fact that a coffee machine costing £575 is always going to be a bit of an indulgence. You can't get this machine cheaper elsewhere, but you can get a lot of other bean to cups for a fair bit less.

Hot from me.

Sorry:( I would suggest to go to your nearest JL store and check if they have it in the store. I picked the machine from the store in Edinburgh and they had it on display as "New" product. May be you will get lucky!
not sure I'd bother. Turned mine on this morning and it has come up with error 8.

Has to go back to JL for a refund...

Sorry to hear that:( Just checked online and error 8 is a mechanical fault so it is not just a software issue.

My machine working fine, had today some coffee from Artisan. Amazing flavor :-) I hope you will find the machine for you. Happy New Year!
I shook it a bunch, used compressed air and a vacuum. It's now back in action but it doesn't take the grounds as it should. Will be calling support Tuesday to see what they say
I purchased from JL Edinburgh coffee is great but milk function is lame, luke warm milk at best. Lady in JL demo'd milk using higher end model in store as she claimed milk connector was missing for A9 model. Purchased machine based on coffee demo on A9 but when I got back home discovered milk wouldn't heat. Investigated online and turned out its a common problem with jura A range. Wanted to check my machine wasn't faulty so when I was in glasgow I got sales rep to do a demo for milk on actual A9 model, she confirmed the milk was not hot enough which matched my problem and was consistent with reviews online. I contacted jura and they sent me new milk connectors claiming the one I received must have a hole to big and milk is passing through to quickly, it made no difference.

I am happy with coffee function and still want to keep machine as it was a bargain and cheaper than the jura model that does black coffee only, but feel like I have missed out on the 1 touch function. Trying to get a milk frother from jura as they offer this free for the model that does black coffee only, and I feel my machine does black coffee only due to luke warm milk.

Ok!!

Off to get a Gaggia now

As a work around for the luke warm milk issue, you could put it in the microwave for 10 seconds.

I've avoided the one touch machines previously due to this issue. I like my cappuccino on the hotter side, but from trialing the one touch machines most produced it cooler then i'd like. So both Bean to Cup's I've had were with a manual frother.

Had our first kid this year and my coffee's constantly going cold as she loves to interrupt me just after I've got a fresh cup in my hand Found a few seconds in the microwave is all you need, so I think my next machine will be a one touch

Took it back to JL for a refund, got the delonghi ecam28.465.bg (cream). £200 off with code delonghi200 and £50 free accessories, so only paid £595, it's pretty much the same as stainless steel deluxe version that retails for £1200. Coffee is great and hot, also has steam arm in addition to carton, it's a dual boiler as well. Very happy with purchase.
