This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

First up - this is the download version from the official Nintendo store (Just the one in South Africa)
You can use the very simple instructions (which I've compiled from various other discussions) to get a whole host of other cheap titles. Such as Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle for ~ £6.50
nintendo.co.za/Gam…tml

(This maybe really obvious to many folk.... but I've only done this for the first time and was surprised how simple it was!)

You will need a credit card and preferably currency fee-free card for the best rate. I used my Starling account

First you need a Nintendo profile in South Africa
Create a _new_ nintendo account. Set the location to South Africa.
I used somthing like nickname: name_SA.
email address myemail+SA@gmail.com
(The myemail@gmail.com account needs to exist, but you can add +anything for gmail)
Set the Country to South Africa!

Then on your Switch
  • Go to the Settings -> User -> add a new user
Create a new user profile.
Such as myname_SA
Link it to your new nintendo account you created above.

Finally on the Switch
  • Go to the Nintendo eShop using the new myname_SA profile
This will open the South Africa store and you can see Just Dance 2020 for R.380.00
Buy that using your currency-fee-free card.

After purchase, it will download and install. You can use any other profile (eg your regular UK profile) to play the game.

I've done the steps above to create profiles for Nintendo e Stores in the US and Japan. I'd suggest doing Japan last, once you're used to the layout.... unless of course you are fluent in Japanese!

PS. There is a current sale in the UK store for Just Dance 2020 £19.99

I used my Starling account last night and it all went through no problem.
Under £27 for both Jaust Dance 2020 and Mario + Rabbids Gold edition
Do we have a list of all games on South African store that are on offer and there UK conversions?

If you haven't received/opened it yet, can you return it and buy online ?

If you already have... c'est la vie... you've hopefully had fun that extra week :-)
Heat added...
..particularly for explaining (clarifying) step by step how to buy games in other region(s). Some people are still uncertain and confused about it

Its OK, the Hong Kong side of the family already had it and the kids couldn't wait to battle them. Didn't think to even check if the price had dropped before they opened it
You can buy on your own account. Switch isn’t region locked. Just go on the Nintendo website-settings-user info-profile, and change your region to SA, and go to the SA site to purchase via Revolut, and change your country back, then go on your switch. You may have to type your password back in but everything will be back to UK.
Cheers OP, 12 month online the other day and this today, thanks South Africa!

Error Code: 9001-1675
The country/region set for your Nintendo Account is different from that of the page you have just been looking at.
Please go back and make sure that the page displayed is set to the same country/region as that of your Nintendo Account, then try making the purchase again.

That doesnt work for me...

Update
It works. You have to take off any renewals. Otherwise it will not let you do it. I didn't have to change my Region on the Switch. I went into the eshop and redownloaded. All good. But bought Diablo 3. Which works out just over £18. So thank you.

Nice one. Used the account trick you mentioned and got De Blob as well. Thanks for the instruction
