Good basic Camcorder. If I hadn't already bought a Sony, I would be up for one of these:thumbsup:

Just purchased the blue one this afternoon. Yes it does have a slot for SD card.

Just reserved one in Fulham :-)

Great price! HOT!

available in buxton and birmingham (junction 9 , m6) .

it's important to point out that this camcorder does not record in High Definition. IMHO if you're going to invest in a good camcorder, then you should buy something that will do your High Definition TV's credit. A lot of people get confused when they see the letters HDD. HDD stands for Hard Disk Drive, and has nothing to do with High Definition.

High Definition is like Garlic Bread......it's the future!

It takes an up to 4gb micro sdhc card, class 4. So its the smaller type of card, usually used in phones. Back up is easy enough via USB cable.

Thanks. Reserved one.

unavailable to buy and reserve online now.

It wasn't available to buy online when this deal was originally posted, 'instore' in brackets was the clue. It is still showing as available to reserve for me though, even at the store I have already reserved at. :?

From the JVC website tech specs:

[11] To record video, a microSDHC card with Class 4 or higher performance is required. microSD memory cards (256MB to 2GB) and microSDHC memory cards (4GB) have been tested for the following brands: Panasonic, Toshiba, SanDisk, ATP. Note that using other media may result in recording failure or data loss. For compatibility of memory cards, please consult an authorised JVC dealer.

I am still going to try a 8GB, class 6 though! ;-)

out of stock - expired? but heat added 4 the deal

Its SD cheap and cheerful. For £130 or so after the cashback its a bargin for the ad hoc use. Picture quality is average.

ive just reserved one at the Murrygate store in Dundee. 20 mile drive but worth it for the saving.

Thanks

Ok it's not a high def but the specs are respectable and the compact size is great !!
