Top deal this is just the kind of thing I'm looking for, only about £143 short of being able to buy it.

1366 x 768 resolution is why it's cheap.

Just bought 2 at my local store
Have some heat. Shame everybody spammed my thread yesterday because they had no faith.
Just bought one, really good buy, collected straight from shelf in Slough Tesco.Great picture and sound, had jvc before, good quality staff. Worth to purchase if you look for something smaller for your bedroom.22" or 24" will be a bit small this one is right size for me.:-)
these are not jvc tv's if i recall they are rebadged vestels
It's £150 but it's a dodgy no-brand. JVC is one of those former decent makes who just badge TVs for supermarkets.
Shame its not full HD, not much point buying this over a cheap HD ready 32" set for the same kind of price.
Thanks ordered, it'll be ok for a replacement in the caravan.
I think you recall is wrong, the JVC is linked with Kenwood now and they do not rebadge vestels.Have some faith!

I don't believe in this but even so,works great, picture is great and good price to!
Really wanted this when I saw the ad a couple of days ago, to replace a 26" screen that I have BUT it doesnt have a scart connecter which I really need.
Just picked one up tesco Doncaster just 6 left
No longer available on website
oos
You'd be hard press to tell it's lower res.
Just seen the reply about no scart, can anyone that owns this confirm if it has or not. Thanks
out of stock¬
I haven't seen anything to confirm it has stock except an eBay listing ... I can't find a manual online for this tv.

I have seen something on Maplin that converts scart to hdmi and it upscales to 1080p but it costs £50 might as well invest in a £200 tv instead and use existing hardware.
Doesn't a TV need to have a scart connection to be hd ready? Odd as it may sound, but sure that was part of the original requirements. I too can't buy this TV until I know about the scart socket, so would be keen to hear from someone that has

picked one up today it has no scart. but if anyone finds the sky remote code for it they would be my hero !!

great picture quality !!! 3 hdmi !! and usb port what else can you wish for for £148 :-)
anyone know they sky remote code for this bad boy ? thanks
Got it about an hour ago, It doesn't come with a scart socket and I'm stuck as to how I'm supposed to get my virgin media box plugged into it if anyone knows what I'm supposed to do help would be appreciated
I did mention earlier on in the day that there was no scart connection, hence me not buying it, so surprised people have bought it without checking this important detail.

Scart may be 'stone-age' but not everyone wants to connect HD items to their TV. My main TV caters for my HD viewing/gaming etc. This TV would have sufficed for my SD Sky box & HD Cable box if it had a scart!

You cant, is the bottom line unless you pick up an adapter/box from ebay etc for £35+
Really not impressed so far. Blurs VERY badly.

Bought for the bedroom, only really thinking of using the built in hardware for the moment. Set up and tuned quickly and easily. Put it on ITV, Toy Story 2 was on. From here on, only bad news. As mentioned above, the picture is very blurry, even with a relatively slow-moving object. I took it into the living room to try it on the Sky HD+ box, and the picture was awful.

Going to try to mess around with the settings, but I'm extremely unimpressed. As it is, the TV is going back.

Edit: Playing around with the picture options vastly improves the picture, especially turning off DNR in the advanced video section. At £148, I'd recommend. Anything more, I'd suggest looking elsewhere, especially if you're wanting it to be your primary set.

Bought one today at our local tesco to use in our bedroom. Great buy. It looks good, sounds good and picture is great. Was £298 now only £148. You cant go wrong for a jvc 29 led tv.
