It does. But not cornflakes. You need to buy coco pops!
While £140 is not a lot, I've got the HD full version from Currys for £152. Not worth the price even if you use it in a spare room. Very flimsy, Vestel make, had lots of faults with it, all in within a month. Wanted a cheap TV, to use occasionally, ended up paying £225 for a Samsung, as JVC (and Toshiba) were really bad.
Nothing against this deal, I didn't vote cold, the price is not bad, you get Spotify too, but if you really want JVC, add £10-30 and get it full HD.

Add a little bit more and you might be able to grab a cheap 4k

You cannot get a 4k 32 inch unless you get a monitor, there are no 32 inch available in 4k, I did lots of research in this matter. There is a particular HUKD member who keeps bringing 4k and 32 inch in discussions but there is no such device. Some suggest to add a bit more and get a bigger TV, but if you need a 32 inch one, a bigger one does not means better value.

Resolution is not the absolute measure of screen quality. The Full HD screen could be worse than the 720p one.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but will you pay £140 for a HD ready JVC, or £10-20 more for the same TV but in full HD?
Not a fan of these cheap standard 32" TVs. Far more worthwhile IMO to spend a bit more and get an LG / Samsung with streaming features.
