I got one of these about 6 months ago for about the same price. Sound is fine. No tinny rattles but no deep bass either.

The amazon reviews are positive, seems OK for the price. Just a shame to give Currys any business.
Personally I would pay more and buy something worthwhile these are garbage
My considered opinion is that never buy a soundbar unless it has an HDMI connection for TV linking. A TV with a HDMI ARC socket will talk to the soundbar, turning it on and off, passing control to the soundbar etc, much more easily than other devices. My Panasonic SC-HTE80 is one such soundbar and is a gem. The TV remote operates the soundbar volume seamlessly. I got mine at JL for £80 some time ago on special offer.
Just be aware you are spending £40 on a soundbar, it's not going to be top notch. Outputs left and right channels @ 30W.

3 inputs of Analog, Co-Ax and Optical, so no HDMI or multiple sources in just your TV, does have Bluetooth too.

For a small TV, this is absolutely fine - way better than the built in audio on my old LG 22".

Not sure how you can say "No HDMI or multiple sources" when you just pointed out it has analog (3.5mm aux), Co-ax, Optical and Bluetooth?

While you need to use the included remote (or the buttons) to control the soundbar volume, it's got some smarts in it - it will turn on when it detects an audio signal, and will also change inputs as well.

Wouldn't disagree, but you're probably not going to get much 'oomph' from your content with it... JVC are definitely the budget level entry point for AV, not that there's anything wrong with that.

I meant no Multiple HDMI sources, at all. Some older TV's only have a couple of HDMI ports and limited connectivity, so whilst I was pointing out that yes, this lovely little soundbar has a wide range of connectivity (bluetooth is an excellent addition for this price), you probably shouldn't get it if HDMI is your only option for getting the TV audio out. Some people might not read the specs and try to snap it up at the price, ending up with a speaker, not a soundbar.
I got one of these a while ago for £60. Its not the best soundbar in the world but, it was worth £60 so a steal at £40. I would still go back and buy it again. Heat for the find
Nah, I ended up going for 100W via amazon for only £20 more
I bought it and didn't realise I didn't have an aux port in my telly! Bought an optical, so hopefully that arrives soon! Thanks!
