Homebase are selling their Karcher ex-displays pressure washers. I came across the K5 in store today which was on sale for £200. I even asked the manager if she could bring it down further as it didn’t have a detergent. Got it for £150 at the end which is a bargain for this model! You don’t get if you don’t ask!

Think this is nationwide. Got mine from Portlethen (Aberdeenshire).

Awesome price; these seem to be around £300+ elsewhere. Thanks for posting and welcome to HUKD @Armink
been around many Homebase recently and have not seen anything else other than the k4 and k2. If needed , that is a bargain, it is a powerful machine.

I like your house more than the machine and it looks clean.
Is that a fitted rug?

Saw the other two models too. K4 was for sale at £115 and K2 for £90ish if I remember correctly.. but I’m sure if you asked they would even bring those down further

I think we all did better than that in the last few weeks, the brand new k4 where @ £75 and the K2 @£50 and that was national. I would have preferred a K5 just to keep as a spare. I already got other 2 powerful machines but cannot stop buying when something comes at a bargain price, lol.
If it's the same quality as my k4 compact I wouldn't pay £1.50 for it. Nilfisk have been far superior for me in the past.

People keep saying things like that. However my old K2 and my current K5 have been great. The K5 did need a washer replaced but otherwise I’d buy again.

I'd agree with this.

I have had numerous Karchers in the past and all have failed in the same way (water pissing out of everywhere, apart from the bit it's meant to come out of).

Being a bit of a car enthusiast and spend hours detailing my cars I looked on various car cleaning forums and nilfisk was always one that was recommended.I purchased one a couple of years back and now would never go back to Karcher again.

IMO Karchers are all looks and not much else.

That said, this is still a good price if a Karcher is what you are after.

But it's not though is it, the price is £200. Asking the manager for a discount isn't a deal, because no one would get it.
Jeez , thus site is getting worse by the day.

Yeah this site is getting worse by the day because of users like you!

Here’s the link to a full price model if you bought it from John Lewis. As Andy said this model are always going for well above £300 and even a £200 is a bargain..JEEEZ

Dunno why any would pay 300 plus for a karcher. Get the bottom range kranzle for not much more instead. Will last a 1000 times longer, better quality etc

Not sure what detailer sites you've been on ir detailers you've speaking to. Most decent professional detailers use kranzle because unlike karcher, nilfisk and all cheap makes the pump is made from brass not alloy or plastic, yes karcher use plastic pumps and nilfisk are no better, wtf, you can replace every part on a kranzle you can't replace anything on carpy karchers or nilfisk

Where did I say professional detailers ? And are you trying to suggest I'm telling porky pies ?

Anyway im talking from my own personal experience and I have had no issues with Nilfisk, but had plenty with Karcher. Can show you a photo of my engine bay if you want to see the results ; )

Yes there are better out there, but at the price point I was looking to spend (£200 and under) people were recommending Nilfisk.I have no need to lie about it.
I got the K4 at Christmas when that was on offer and was told by the staff in my local they were not allowed to sell the ex display items due to health and safety or something like that. Also had it confirmed in the next local one where i got a new K4 so fair play on getting that one.

They still have the K4 and K2 ex-displays for sale in our local Homebase. It’s a small branch though so they might be making space for new season
~Cold. Doesn't even appear on the website, let alone instore! I've only seen the K4 which is currently priced at £249. So unless you happen to live in Portlethen, Aberdeenshire, this deal probably doesn't exist anywhere else! If you want a Karcher K5 Premium Package, it's currently £199 at Costco (+ 5% for non members). Karcher K5 Premium Home Pressure Washer Package
