... this is a qualifying item for a voucher, which isn't at all obvious if you dont have the voucher.

Choose Amazon as the supplier of the cable, then goto your basket page (not checkout), directly under the single price of your item at 6.99 will be a drop down option to "save £4.20 - collect voucher" (hyperlink), click on this and you will observe in the follow on checkout page, your discount applied. If you do not see this drop down menu on the basket page, you have not collected the voucher via your many many purchases at Amazon.

You can see all your collected vouchers on the Amazon Voucher Home Page under "your recently collected vouchers"
Each voucher only applies to a specified item or items ("Qualifying Item(s)"). You can see the Qualifying Item(s) for any voucher by clicking on the voucher.

This on the other hand is very helpful. I never knew about this and I thought I was an amazon guru! Voucher not showing for me which explains it! Cheers!

Was looking for the same myself. Seem to be able to pick up 1000 foot (310m) for about £30-35 off eBay. Best value for money I could find.

I ended up buying a 40m cable to do what I need for £10 as 310m is a bit excessive for my short term needs.

Where did you get 300m worth for £40? For that price I'd buy that.

But as per Morty’s comment below this is copper clad aluminium which isn’t the best quality. But then again. It’s half the price or more , so I suppose there is always a compromise. I’ve just done a google on Coper clad vs copper as its handy to know these things.

Good luck with whatever root you go down.
