Spotted today in Tesco. Normally £15.50.

Haven’t seen it on the site, not aware of anywhere currently selling it cheaper without a delivery fee negating savings.

Great for helping recreate those Big Lebowski moments

I Adore this mixed with baileys & crushed ice 1st time i drank this was in a bar in Brazil.
Is this likely to be a national deal?
£12 in most other supermarkets, so not much saving against the current market

Should be - it is online as well.

You’re absolutely right. I think the reductions are all part of the shops’ Christmas competition. But a saving’s a saving I guess. Can always put the extra quid towards one of those Terry’s chocolate oranges that have been promoted to death on here
If you just use this in cocktails, as I do, it's surprisingly easy to make a version of it yourself.

It's basically just half strong coffee (I use an espresso machine), half booze (vodka or dark rum works well), sugar and a vanilla bean and leave in a cupboard for 3 weeks.

Works like a charm and gives you 2l of the stuff for about 15 quid 😁

Careful man, there's a beverage here!!
This, vodka and Baileys = mudslide. A deceptively potent cocktail
God.. mudslide used to driink bottles of that years ago on nights out
Pick up a bottle & a stock of Schweppes tonic water a saving of £3 overall

This sounds super interesting. I love DIY stuff!

What measurements do you use? So how much sugar/vanilla to what volume of espresso/vodka? Does it have to be vanilla bean or does extract work?

Absolutely. Needed another bottle for the Christmas Day White Russians, so heat from me.

Honestly, I kind of eyeball it. For each litre of liquid mix (50% booze, 50% coffee), I'd say about 250g of sugar (I've used Demerara and caster and both work) though that's obviously adaptable based on taste.
On the vanilla point, my latest batch has extract in it and it does definitely work, but I would say that the bean ones I've made have been a little more flavourful. That batch was also about 75/25 vodka/dark rum on the booze front.

This is what I started from, and have just played about from there: veganinthefreezer.com/hom…ua/

They've all come out very drinkable
