Shocked that it's been voted so cold. Great find @mcampster don't let these fools deter from posting deals like this going forward

For that money I'd rather get a full size Aldi or Morrisons equivalent
Is this better than the Komodo 2000?

Does this use coal ?
What a bargain! Wish I was after this small one but I need something bigger
This post has introduced me to a whole new world of very expensive barbecue equipment.

Camels show this as the lowest price, with a 4 year average price of £435.
Tempted, but just concerned it’s a little on the small size.
Anyone cooked for 4 on this size?

From my research I reckon you can cook for 4 on this. But you won't be able to smoke much more than a chicken. Which to me is the biggest draw of a kamado.
For what it's worth I'm pretty sure that it's a misprice and they'll correct it soon. If you're thinking about it, just order!

Been this for a couple of weeks

This should be hot people treat this like an iPhone 11 deal cold by default
I've been in the market for a classic or Weber smokey mountain for a couple months now but even I'm considering this just because it's such a good deal
Cheers OP been waiting for this to drop. Already got the classic 3 but been wanting the jr for a while
Ordered, a steal compared to the Big Green Egg Minimax at £650+!

Care to share ?
Is this any good for cooking a 16 inch pizza?
This is a great price for a great piece of kit, perhaps a bit too small if it’s your only bbq.
I ordered one...best price I’ve seen for ages and a premium product! Been deciding whether to get this small one or the large one but when the new larger one is £1700! Kind of a no brainer
Couldn't resist....ordered!

Should be a nice accompaniment along side my Weber kettle.

Thanks
Pot noodlers voting again I see.

The BGE Minimax is £685 - biggreenegg.co.uk/sho…ier
And the Joe Jr is Kamado Joe's equivalent, and even comes with a convector/plate setter. The Minimax doesn't, and would be an extra £40 through Big Green Egg too, so takes your all in price to £725 on the Minimax. This offer is £335, less than half that of BGE's offering.

I have a BGE Large and have been wanting the Minimax to take camping, but just could never justify the price point. KJ's are reviewed brilliantly, and come with a lifetime warrenty too!

I don’t get why these are so expensive? Im looking to build an outdoor entertainment area with a coal bbq. For a bit more you can buy a professional catering bbq like you get in kebab shops. Alternatively the buffalo range which are also great. I don’t get what the fascination is with these and the hestons?
Can you Cook pizza on this? How small is this ? How much stuff can you get on there

Kamados can be used as a BBQ, smoker and even an oven. Very efficient use of charcoal as well which enables long cooks without too many problems. They should also potentially last decades.

They are expensive but you're paying for the flexibility. If you don't want to do anything but grill, then get a regular charcoal BBQ for less money.

Not for me but heat added for the multipurpose and the money saving
They certainly are for the enthusiast! Or those with a bit of money to spend.

The Big Green Eggs make the KJs look positively cheap in comparison!

you are kidding right? You clearly have no idea of quality

Its tiny. I personally if spending that money would have a full size kamado. My mate has the large kamado joe and I have the same morrisons size one. Its good quality but cooks the same

The amount of cheaper ceramics I have seen with cracks from normal use is staggering though. KJ do it so well, and only seen problems with them... other than one guy,who I can only think hadn’t closed the vents, had his newly built bbq shack and bar area go up in flames!

You know this is the tiny Joe junior? For your main bbq you would rather haveca mini than a full size? I've had the morrisons for 2 years and no problems. I paid 250 as it was their display model and use it all the time

Yeah, fully aware of the size. That’s good you’ve had that luck. Seen many issues on bbq groups etc. but I guess, you do only hear about the bad experiences.
I also don’t understand how this could be cold. Kamado Joes are one of the best (if not the best) quality kamados available and this price is the lowest they’ve sold for.
Ordered! Perhaps a stupid question, but how can you see when amazon will expect to get more in stock? OP mentions 24 June but no estimate showing for me
