Kameo is a magical, epic adventure full of magnificent exploration and intense combat. The future of the world depends on Kameo, who must capture, grow and unleash a wide assortment of incredible monsters to combat ever-present evil, and rescue her three Elemental Ancestors from the Dark Troll King who threatens the planet and its wildlife.

Kameo has the unique ability to morph in real time into a wide variety of incredible monsters, each with its own strengths and fighting style. To fight the hordes of evil, players will strategically employ 18 elemental monsters from each of the Six Elements of Power: Plant, Water, Rock, Ice, Wind and Fire. They can choose a plant that boxes for up-close combat, a rock monster to launch a silo of rocks, or a wind monster that specialises in ground-to-air attacks. Fast-paced action, epic-style battles and massive boss encounters will require players to think and act quickly using their boundless monster repertoire.

Very underated game
The first console game I ever played in HD, I remember being amazed by the graphics!

Certainly not one of Rares best IMO but definitely not crap. But along with Perfect Dark Zero suffered as a result of switching platforms too much. Particularly in the visuals department its a little all over the place.

In some spots it looks really good particularly for an early Xbox 360 game but other times seemed really rushed and last gen (at the time!). Its dated for sure and quite short in length but still has that signature Rare quality gameplay design.
Typical launch title... favors visuals, falls short in everything else and feels unpolished.

Not worth the time, but voted hot because it's cheap as beans

Bought this on launch night... a decision I regret.
I really loved this game, feels like many years ago since I played this.
Yeah I liked this game back in the day but playing it the other day, it’s aged terribly and it’s not a very good game these days.
This game was epic when xbox had amazing games, good times....replayed it years ago and still loved it. Needs a xbox one x remake

I'm sure you mean a patch for it? If so then yeah I would be totally on board for that! So many games I would love to go back and play especially with better frame rates and resolutions
If you don't own this it's well worth getting at this price, I've had it since launch on the Xbox 360 and really enjoy it. One i need to play again at some point.
Loved this game on the 360, I think it is still fun although slightly awkward controls in parts. Great as a co-op. Played it though with my son when he was first getting in to gaming. He's now much better than me and lives the life of a recluse playing Fortnight 24-7 instead of revising for GCSEs. Yay gaming.
Shame they cancelled plans for part 2

Doesn't the xbox one x upscale graphics on all older games without a patch. Obviously you won't see a mega difference like when you see the comparison videos from original xbox to xboxonex, Battlefront 1 + 2 looking awesome

True that. I myself am not sure how pronounced the perofrmance gains are over the PS4 Pro boost mode (which I'm mainly comparing it to) although I'm sure its by default a lot better. Still I'm more interested in proper full on patches that really give the base games a significant overhaul
I hated this for some reason
It's probably worth getting rare replay rather than buying this individually, rare replay includes it, and comes with another 20+ games from their back catalogue. Not sure how much it can be grabbed for nowadays, but I think it was 15 new on release a couple of years ago

Xbox One X doesn't upscale without a patch what it does do is run at a higher frame rate with a higher level of anisotropic filtering. With a patch it increases the native resolution to nine times higher the original and sometimes has other tweaks like increased draw distance. So if the original game was full 720p it will be a full native 4K on X1X if the game is patched. As it increases the native resolution it is effectively a free remaster.
