You're welcome Gollywood You can add tints from £16 - I just checked and the 20% Off applies to the tint also. So a pair of the Kangol sunglasses with standard lenses, and tint would cost £28.80.

It isn't legal to sell children's glasses online as they need to be professionally measured.
You child's eyesight has to be worth a few quid - or most high Street opticians still do free spectacles for children.

It's illegal to buy kids glasses online, they're dispensed at opticians by a qualified Dispensing Optician and prescription double checked by optometrist. Online glasses are of exceptionally poor quality main issue's buying online are optical centre's outside British standards, unwanted prism in lenses, poor coatings, prescription outside British tolerance, poor glazing work and fitting, with most customers getting regular headaches/migranes, blurry or poor vision and they break very quickly due to poor frame quality and no aftercare from professional D/O's or Optom's. It's a healthcare product and I will never recommend buying prescription glasses online.

The script is from an opticians and I got a free pair and bought an extra pair 85 for the pair. Was his brother promptly stood on. These online ones which I just ordered from Goggles 4u are a backup pair. I always have to wait 1-2 weeks for a new pair. They are always breaking. Kids eh. With 45% off voucher cost £6.95. I will as an experiment have them looked at by an optician and relay results. Mine have always been excellent quality and we have similar prescription. But I care more about his eyesight than mine

If you come yo me and ask me to check the spectacles you bought online ... £30.00 before I'll touch them.
If they're for your kid, I'm shopping you and the site to the GOC.

£30 to check them. I’d be happy with that. Thought it be more. My high street opticians will check them for me, very helpful. I DO want to CHECK if the online glasses are as good as the high street. If it isn’t then I’ll know, if it’s exactly the same then I can breath easy about having a £6.95 vs £85 as a backup pair. I will update.

Is it? See I've now purchased 4 sets of childs size prescription glasses online. For myself! I am an adult yes, just got a small head! 1 I hope this is isn't a law and 2 that's discrimination against my tiny size head if so! Please, 2 people now have said this - can you link into to proof this illegal. Cheers

It's illegal to sell spectacles to under 16 year olds online.

Section 27 Opticians Act 1989
Terrible experience with this company on this deal. They sent out a faulty bent frame and their "solution" is for me to return the frame for a refund but they won't refund the cost of the lenses. They also do that thing where you send them a picture and a description of the problem and they email back saying that you need to send a picture and description of the problem, effectively and needlessly drawing out the process. I would avoid this company. If there is a problem, they will not take responsibility or give you your money back without a fight.
Hello @UZOR we're ever so sorry to hear this. We will never leave a customer unhappy and would like the opportunity to rectify this situation. Please could you email customercare@lowcostglasses.co.uk with 'Hot Deals UK' in the subject header with your order details and I'll look into this further for you.

Many thanks,LCG
