Hot. Ryanair are a joke, forever changing rules and regulations to catch people out. For any decent airline 55 x 44 x 20 is the norm (some slightly larger).

Are you sure? That sounds like the small bag dimensions. Not the main cabin bag which I'm sure is 55 40 20.

You have to pay for the priority boarding to be able to take a 'regular' sized cabin bag on board. Pretty soon you'll also have to empty your pockets unless you pay a premium.

Yes I'm duly corrected. I forgot that I paid an extra 6 euros or something to get the priority 2 bags which includes the more standard cabin bag allowance. There are some passengers who will see this as beneficial as they can now carry more onto the plane without having to use baggage claim, albeit at cost. E.g. on our holiday this additional space enabled us to avoid forking out 40 or so euros on hold baggage.
Where is it £7.99?
Says £9.99 here
The red one was 7.99, looks like it has sold out. Its still a good price for the black one.
Cabin Max XL Stowaway Hand Luggage 40 x 20 x25cm amazon.co.uk/dp/B07K47BG6K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_JW2JCbH6CWNG4 This is the only backpack type bag that exactly matches Ryanair's dimensions. It was expensive at £29.99 but will pay for itself after a few trips. There are cheaper options out there but they all look like handbags.

I think Amazon have sold out but you can get one from the cabin max website. Get the XL one as the smaller one looks like a lunchbox with straps!

Yep, I'm one of those passengers as I never take hold luggage with me on Ryanair flights these days and just pay for the priority boarding option to get 2 cabin bags on board. Saves me money as well as the time it takes to check-in hold baggage at the departure airport and the time waiting around the baggage carousel at the arrival airport.
