Noriyuki 'Pat' Morita as Martial arts master Miyagi and Ralph Macchio star in director John G. Avildsen's KARATE KID trilogy. Contains THE KARATE KID, THE KARATE KID PART 2, and KARATE KID PART 3.
In THE KARATE KID, a young teenager who is plagued by attacks and cruel jokes by a gang of vengeful kids, takes karate lessons in the hope that it will make him strong. In the end he learns the more important lesson, that fighting is the last answer to a problem, not the first.
THE KARATE KID PART 2 continues the story of a young man growing up under the guidance of his Japanese mentor. Daniel and Miyagi travel to Okinawa where they find they are no longer part of a game played by the rules.
In THE KARATE KID PART 3, Daniel decides not to compete in a karate championship and he becomes the target of a vicious competitor who wants the title back. But when the relentless abuse becomes blackmail, Daniel goes against the sound advice of Miyagi and enters the competition, thus alienating the only person who can help him.

truly inspirational films - these really helped me struggle through a difficult patch of my life when all hope was lost and my bonsai tree store was being attacked on a daily basis by chavs.

"Waaahhhh aaahwaaahhhhhh!!!" My brother always adopted this line just before giving me a dead arm, taken from when Terry Silver is taking the mick fighting Mr.Miyagi near the end.

I always loved the KK trilogy as a kid as is what inspired me to get into martial arts, as Im sure many others who grew up in this era, which alone is feat in itself for a cheesy string of movies.

KKIII is particularly a ham'tastic' classic. I mean where else can you get a slick haired ponytailed - multi-millionare from toxic waste deals - silk gi wearing evil karate sensei? (whos actually got a kempo black belt in real life I might add!)

COBRA KAI NEVER DIES!!!
