Nice find thank-you, a useful item, reserved for collection tomorrow!
Good luck getting it working with the pressure washer
I use mine all the time. It works great !
Is this suitable for any pressure washer?
Have reserved one, but hold little hope with any Homebase reservations in my local store these days.

Yeah they do, but in my experience if it is less than 4... Then it is pot luck as to whether you will get one (but that might be limited to my experiences with my local store)

That's fairly standard.
I have been called twice by the same shop on different occasions saying both times 'must have been stolen' that must be their tried and tested excuse.
How long would you get of constant use from a water butt while jet washing? Can't see it lasting that long but I'm curious to know.

At least is isn't just me then
What's the difference between this and putting your hose pipe that is connected to your pressure washer, in the water butt?

It’s a suction hose and filter, also it’s one way water valve with filter! So only clear water that goes through!

A fair amount of time, but depends what you're using it for. I have a Nilfisk 135 bar pressure washer, and cleaning a car thoroughly takes no more than 20% of a 150l butt. Have cleaned small areas of flagstones and brickwork too without using huge amounts of water.

Looking at Nilfisk C135, standard water flow is 350l/h, and flow at max pressure is 520l/h, so using it 'normally,' you'd get about 26 mins constant use from a 150l butt, and around 17 mins continuous use if using max 135 bar pressure the whole time.

Obviously you'd get longer use time if you have a 200l water butt or a lower pressure washer.

Wasn't expecting such an informative post so thanks for the effort. I didn't realise that you get your car washed with using only 20% of your water butt. I would have thought that it would have a huge flow rate but I suppose its the narrow tip that creates the effectiveness. Might have to get a water butt. It sounds like you do not regret having one and I'm on a water meter!! Thanks again.
Heat added. Got one of the last ones from my local store.

Thank you for that. Makes sense now and may take a trip down and get one myself. Do you know if these work with workzone pressure washers? Workzone and karcher have the same connections don't they?

I've used mine connected to my water butt for years with just a hose. No need for this

I have 2x200 litre tanks and I can do my whole drive and patio. Over an hour non stop
Phone call from my local store to say, sorry not available. Shock horror - to be fair, I called it.
Thanks idontflycathay got the last one in my local Homebase.
