Not much idea about pressure washers but this seems a decent price for a branded washer. Suppose it all depends what you want to do with it.
i
Price is £59.00 but use code TDX-KYNK (£10 off £50 for new customers) to make it £49.00

Good tip to prolong the life of your jet washer: make sure ALL of the water is out of the unit when you've finished, otherwise if it's icy/very cold outside (and the unit is stored in shed/garage), the water will freeze thereby expanding and breaking the pump.

Apt second comment for the first comment!

Karcher isn't the brand is once was, but this is a decent price for what it is, and you wont find better IMHO for less than £50.

Heat added.

I was lucky to get mine at Tesco store for £39.99.

good price even without the £10

Deal edit: Price is £49.00 not £49.99

This deal is not £49.99, it's £49.99 for new customers, otherwise £59.99. You should have that in your title.

Wouldn't have thought they'd let you make new accounts to the same address with the same card, but if they do, would be helpful if it was in the description.

I have one of these and it doesn't even take the dirt off my car unless its held about an inch away.

What about the paint?

Funny, I borrowed one from work to clean my drive and it was powerful enough to clean off the dirt that was ingrained into the bricks. I was very impressed.

Just got one
Thx

I disagree, @ £59.99 its not a good price for what is a machine which should have an RRP of less than £50, Karcher won't do that as it devalues there products and there name that they've spend a fortune building up over the years.

Don't get me wrong, the K4 range and up are great machines, BUT there are better built, better lasting, better performing machine for less.

For the £60 range you'd be far better off with a Nilfisk C110 seen here for £58.96 delivered.

Same size motor - 1400w, same accessories, same 2 year warranty BUT increased flow rate and a superior aluminium pump (karchers are plastic) which will last longer.

As I said earlier I've heated this deal, its a good machine for less than £50, any more than that do some research, you'll get more for your money.

Had 2 karchers before and both packed in.....very poor build and parts quality IMHO......bought a nilfisk one for similar money and much better quality.....

That's where Karchers' investment in branding is coming to fruition, repeat customers.

Someone saying 'I'm on my 2nd/3rd Nilfisk' is a rare occurence, whereas someone saying 'I'm on my 2nd/3rd Karcher ', is common.

I had a Nilfisk that lasted about 5 uses and then packed in. Maybe I was an unlucky one.

I hate this site, just when it looks like Nilfisk is winning someone pops up with 'my Nilfisk broke'. It restarts the proceedings in my head so it takes me longer to buy something!

The more you sell the more failures you get the more people moan

damn it, made the mistake of impulse buying last week at i think £80 from B&Q

One of the amazon reviews says this:

amazon.co.uk/rev…J02

So do you have to buy another connector to fix this to your hosepipe?

I appreciate that and even when I know this it still creates enough doubt to make me think again!

Friendly word of warning. Do not, even as a joke, think it would be a good idea to use this for cleaning your genitals.

Am I alone in thinking £49 for something that takes half an hour to set up, takes up loads of storage and you use once a year, is a tad excessive ?

If someone used a pressure washer once a year I would suggest they re-think whether they need one.

That same person probably takes it out and proceeds to wash ; 2 cars, patio/decking, patio furniture, conservatory and bbq, use it for 2/3 hours solid and wonder why there £50 pressure washer now doesn't work.

Then they'll complain 'I've used it twice and it doesn't work, but when it did it was great so I'll buy another £50 one'.

Pressure washers less than £100* IMO are designed for use for approx 30mins or so at a time, any more there overworked and the motor will burn out.

Karcher K2 @ Halfords £74.99 WAS £139.99, bargain save 46%linky (_;)

Shame there's lots of folks who will be duped by that 'deal'.

Tesco actually did pay me for mine, 2p but I was paid to take it away. You have to love double the difference

I've got a Karcher, had it for around 4-5 years. Gets used fequently. Never had a problem with it or any accessories. Don't know what the fuss is about.

Yeh it cleaned my drive as well but didn't clean our cars very well, you will find out soon enough. Good luck

a nilfisk c110 is far better than this karcher rubbish

aluminum pump as opposed to a plastic pump for starters

half an hour to plug it in and connect a hose! oO

dont ever take on any diy

Cheers op, heat added, it's worth a punt

Anybody that thinks that pointing a pressure washer jet is going to clean a car is deluded, you still need the soap and brush attachments to shift dirt and the patio attachment for this is brilliant. One of the shopping channels beginning with Q sells these regularly as a complete kit for just over £100 I believe is the price and they would soon stop selling them if they had to many returns, but their returns policy is very good so maybe the best place to get one. I've never had a problem with a Karcher whatever others say about their lowering standards. Don't forget that you are getting a domestic product as apposed to their industrial products that cost several hundred pounds.
