True, but my local Wickes is over 40 miles away !!
The K2 is very low end as pressure washers go. For the basic unit including hose/pistol and lance it's worth no more than £35 to £40. It's ok for small jobs once a week for 6 months of the year but give it some serious use and the plastic valves in the pump expire and pressure loss occurs. If you are tempted to supply water to it from a barrel then put a good inline filter in the hose to catch any grit or it's almost instant history.

I think a comparative Nilfisk has a metal pump where this Karcher has a plastic one, which is more likely to fail.

.
Good deal. I bought the patio cleaner refurbed from ebay about 4 years ago for £35. So this is good.
Nilfisk has a metal pump & i personally think you look a bit gay dragging around a yellow pressure washer.

I bought one of these 6 months ago from Karcher Outlet (refurbished but with 6 months warranty) for only £29.99 (+£6.95 delivery). The link for it is here: karcheroutlet.co.uk/pro…122 - However, their price has sky-rocketed now....
Must be the time of year (spring just starting) - so if you don't urgently need one now, wait until the end of summer and get it for half this price.

Nilfisk has a higher water flow rate (for faster cleaning), aluminium pump (longer lasting than the K2's plastic pump) and includes a drain cleaner which doesn't come with the K2.
Not bad for brand new but I grabbed a refurbished (essentially open box) one from karcher outlet with all the same accessories and extended warranty for half the price. Still going strong a year later.

If only I had a time machine, I could go back and purchase one ! Next time I post a deal I will CONSTANTLY monitor it for at least two months (_;)
Many thanks Monkey...
I had one of these on order from B&Q and even with a £5 voucher it was still £20 more expensive. I went with the Nilfisk from Screwfix (thanks matjoliver too) but otherwise I would have wasted money on what seems to be a slightly inferior product!

Agreed, I find the patio cleaners hopeless, just swirls the dirty water around under the unit, using a dirtblaster lance is far easier, aim away and in the direction you want water to go.
I got one of these in a new year sale (minus the patio cleaner) for £32 in Tesco. Nothing wrong with the K2 at all, it's been fine for cleaning slabs and the car. I only thought it would last a year but it still works fine. Seems very overpriced at £72 even with the patio cleaner.
The soap syphon thingy on mine had never worked but it's not really a big deal.
