great statement, care to back up why you've come to that conclusion?

And yeah I've got the K4 compact, mines still going after two years.

Yea sure. The smaller ones have very weak pressure and woefully weak water flow rate.
Plastic pumps don't last long either.
Hope that helps

If it's not karcher HD then don't bother if you want durability with constant use.

Why would you need high definition on a washer?

Had a k2 for about 12 years, used it to clean the patio once a year and to clean the car once a week with no issues, however, the pump head sprung several leaks this year so upgraded to a k4. Mines a full size version with all the attachments and a 5year warranty but cost more than twice the price so if you can get this for the price seems like a bargain (think these come with a karcher 3 year warranty)

are you still comparing the k4 compact to the k4 (normal size)?

K2 the model that most unfortunate people ending up buying.
if you were referring to version models then yes of course the lower the model the less of performance. I thought you were referring 'smaller karchers' as in physical size is worse then its counterparts of the same model i.e. k4 compact vs k4 normal

K2 is on offer and the one most people buy because most people only need something light for a car wash or something they will be used a couple times each year. No everyone has £150+ to spend on a K4 or above because its overkill for their usage.
