I have been searching for a 2nd pressure washer for ages. Have been looking for a K4 compact or a Nilfisk C135 at a good price and a decent seller. This K5 was my preferred machine with 500 lph flow rate and 8m hose but I did not want to spend £200 or more
so under £155 this is a bargain and it is from a good supplier. It will great for cars and patios. I had a K5 X model previously and it was ideal with the PA foam lance or copies of the same if you want to pay less. You can collect in store or get fast free delivery. Hope it helps anyone who has been looking like me.

I suppose one is paying more as an overall package. I can only liken it to a car battery.
You buy the one with a 3 year guarantee for less than the super one with the 5 year guarantee but internally they are similar. It is the guarantee that is costing the majority.
The difference is the pressure washer will probably be less reliable than the battery so the extra two years may be handy. For me 3 years is pretty good at this price. How long it lasts after that depends on use and to some extent using it correctly plus can I reasonably repair it. A Kranzle is a solid machine built to last but if it goes wrong beyond 2 years and you cannot repair it yourself it will easily cost the price of this in one go. What do you think.

I think you may be right. Was on the lookout for k5 premium but for this price its a no brainer. Would love a kranzle but £600 is 2 much for home use

Yes, this is a nice machine. I am really pleased with the size, no unnecessary space padded out to create a bigger machine. The flow rate is so much better than those at circa 400 lph. Enjoy using it.
Great price, thanks OP
Just tried it on my block-paving, it's as good as the reviews said it was :-)

The K5 water-cooled motor is excellent and in this size it is a pocket rocket. As I said in the opener, I had a K5 X series but it was not stable being tall with a small footprint. I did consider getting the same one again, water cooled etc. as Toolstation have it but I saw this reduced and then with the voucher I thought it was too good to be true. I think the next best price is to low as it was added but not by me. It shows Toolstation just under £200 but it is incorrect so the saving is more. Some sellers have it significantly more, even a refurb costs this.

Glad you like it. Just be sure to purge air out before use.
Excellent deal and purchased one today. Many thanks.

Sure.

Each time when you connect any pressure washer to your hose pipe air will have entered the system and pipe. If you just connect up, turn the water on and start using the pressure washer with one of the lances it will surge as water is drawn through and interrupted by air. A bit like when your main water supply has been cut off by your water company, you find that initially when it is turned back on there is spluttering from the tap and other facilities.

This can damage the washer. What I do is connect it all up, turn the water supply on and pull the trigger without any power turned on. I also remove the jet / nozzle part of the lance. When pure water starts to come out without the air, I turn the power on and run it like that a little more. That removes all the air and then you can add the Vario lance or whatever and use it safely. Many people miss this step, it causes the washer to pulse and ultimately causes damage.

Also when finished, remove the inlet hose, remove the Vario lance, power on and pull the trigger until there is no water (as per the instructions), especially in winter.
