Yeh, a whole 5p. I think I would rather get a new one for that saving.

go for it.

I have bought a pressure washer and wet dry vacuum from the outlet and both were like new condition at a fraction of the price.

Really don't see the point of these, decent squeegee and know how to use it properly is a much quicker and better way.
A friend bought one said it was rubbish and took it back, they were on offer in Asda for less than this a few weeks back.

Probably why there are loads of "Refurbs" out there as they get a lot of returns.

I've gone the squeegee route and was sceptical when wife bought one of these. These are very good, far better than squeegee for some unfathonable reason.

[i paid nearer £70 a couple of years back and am vey happy with it. Great on condensation and the shower screen as well.

Good price. I bought one for a similar price from Tesco. But as a product it's pretty useless. A steam cleaner is much better.

What's the difference between the WV50 and the more expensive WV60?

It is. Especially for something that's used once and then forgotten about.

Better for taking water off glass etc? I use mine on the worktop, so much quicker for a streak free shine.

No it's not. That's the whole point of them. With a squeegee you'll always get a fluid build up at the bottom of the pane of glass. With this you don't because it is is squeegee and vacuum so there's no water at the bottom of a run down a window.

Can you extend it with a pipe to teach higher?

The basic unit is the same. With the WV60 you get an additional narrower blade which is good for panelled glass doors, louvred shower curtains etc. You also get a squirty bottle with a microfibre cloth attachment but that doesn't add any real value over just using an old window cleaner spray bottle and normal microfibre cloth.

Hold on...let me get this straight...you only have to clean windows once? WTF!

Never had an issue with a squeegee, neither do professional window cleaners, plus I would have to charge this about 5 times to do my house.

Also as my friend noticed these can only be used vertically, they leak if you use them in any other position so removing that bit at the bottom was near impossible, Karcher even said on the phone it is not to be used in any other position than vertically.

I bought loads when tesco were selling them for £1.18 by mistake. Couldn't fill the trolley fast enough.

useless item

oh come on, get off the fence are you getting one or not? The suspense is killing me..

Brilliant item. Use it to clean the car windows and in the winter use it to remove mist from inside the car. Worth the money has saved me a fortune in window cleaning bills.
It also allows me to do the windows inside. So in less than an hour my windows are clean inside and out.

I absolutely love mine, a fantastic time saver for little finger marks on all our mirrored wardrobe doors, cleans our tiles in the bathroom and shower, the shower screen, my glass hob our gloss kitchen cabinets, then the hubby pinches it to do the car windows, I've never had it run out of charge once and it couldn't be easier to use. worth every penny!!! hot!!

It does that perfectly and guess what ?

my worktops are all horizontal (_;)

Good luck with a Warranty claim if it goes wrong, Karcher are changing their advertising campaign due to this and can cause damage to the device if not used vertically. Call them if you want reassurance, this is taken verbatim from the telephone conversation that was had with them.

Good job they include a orientation sensor in the device so they can check you only ever use it vertically as well - otherwise they'd have a terrible chance at proving you did..

Correctamundo. They are supposed to be only used upright. Leaving a few inches of unclean glass in the conservatory that needs a traditional squeegee.

Although I do believe Karcher are soon releasing a version.2 to fix the design fault.

I bought one thinking it CLEANED windows, not just wiped them. Dissatisfied with it to be honest but I know a lot of people love them so each to their own.

I don't think it's great for cleaning windows either,i still seem to get streaks, but I get loads of condensation in the Winter and it's brilliant for that.

About half way down they show the different packages, with the WV60 you get the squirter and another smaller cleaning head and some of the Karcher cleaning fluid.
