I know what people will say Karrimor c**p now that they are owned by SD and I agree. Except for this.
It is an Event (three layer) jacket, similar to GoreTex,Which means it is probably slightly less waterproof but more breathable if you read the reviews, which are excellent. OK I know it is not a Rab or Haglof jacket, but they use the same Event material and this is loads cheaper if your not a badge snob!

I see everyone with their Rab jackets are voting cold because it is Sports Direct. Sad , just look at the spec and compare it with your expensive coat ! I bet it came from the same factory in China!

I'm not a badge snob, but spending £120 on Karrimor does seem a little excessive. They used to be a decent brand, but their quality has suffered considerably smaller nice being taken over by Sports Direct.

I recently purchased a North Face coat for just over £170 in the sales. It's the most I've ever spent on a coat, and made me cringe a little parting with so much money, but the quality is superb. I'm comparing it to my previous coats which have been Trespass and which cost considerably less than the North Face coat, so you'd expect a difference in quality.

If you have ever tried taking anything faulty back to Sports Direct, then for peace of mind you will leave this well alone!

sports direct sizing also dubious......go two sizes larger than you need

Try returning it or complaining it to north face when the material splits!! Happened to 2 north face jackets I've bought in the past

Never again!! Spend slightly more and get Haglofs

I've read nothing but good reviews about North Face customer services, so that's a little strange. Maybe their customer service is better in the US? Strange that they offer a lifetime guarantee on garments purchased in the US, but only 2 years for the UK for the same products.
