Karrimor is unfortunately just cheap Chinese Sports Direct crap. The real Karrimor went bust years ago and Mike Ashley bought the logo. You will almost certainly be disappointed if buying these.
One of many brands ruined by Ashley im afraid.

Where does it say these are waterproof? Can't see it other than willy_wonka saying over and over. Just looks like a pair of £20 trainers

Disagree - all trainers regardless of brand are made in S E Asian sweatshops. My Karrimors are just about worn out, bought 6 years ago from Mr Ashley for £24

It's a fair point you make, although I have a pair of shoes very similar to these (all leather, no suede) and they are still solid after 18 months use worn 5 days a week, I'm a delivery driver out in all weathers and they've been great.

I've also bought a Karrimor jacket from Sports Direct a few months ago and for the £35 I paid, imho it's brilliant, warm, windproof and waterproof.

It's true you get what you pay for, but the brand isn't Berghaus etc but for the price being paid, I've been pretty impressed.
Cheers op, ordered.

I have had other Karrimor products over the last few years. Waterproof gtx walking shoes and normal trainers. They have lasted me well enough.

Don't listen to all the Ashley haters!
I bought karrimor walking boots a few years ago and they didn't last more than 2 or 3 months of light use. Stupidly I gave them another go a couple of years later and they fell apart in a similar fashion. They are cheap but they are also as crap as their current reputation. So going from past experience I believe all the negative stuff that is said about them.
Dont. KARRIMOR were sold off in 2004. Just at the point they were going very technical and improving their quality to compete with other top end gear. I bought (mistakenly) x 2 pairs of their shoes 2 years back. One pair lasted about a month of use every now and then before the soles started to come off. The others lasted a little longer until they too did the same. Not hard walking; just ambling about. Whilst the price is good, I dont recommend. Apart from the fact that Mike Ashley is a very, very dodgy man.

You have heard of libel ?

Why? D'you fancy telling him? Shoes are rubbish, despite the price and let's be honest, who thinks he is a nice man? Maybe his mother.
Complete idiot ! been judgemental can cost you dearly in the courts, i have no comment on the man, just a warning for the keyboard warriors who believe they are untouchable

An awful lot worse has been said about Mr Ashley in the UK press and courts and I'm not aware he has ever seen fit to pursue a slander/libel case. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't want to subject his business dealings to the scrutiny that would be required to prove they aren't "dodgy".

Same experience with my last pair. They were never waterproof and the sole lifted off in less than 12 months of light use. Each to their own but I wouldn't buy Karrimor again.

Like most clothing these days.

Maybe so, but don’t force it down my throat with the store name
Edited by: "allginger" 1st Jan
Be aware that Karrimor is not the high quality, trustworthy, brand it once was.

I believe the name was bought by SportsDirect and now they churn out trash.

Avoid.
Any more codes? My pair arrived today, very happy with them, comfortable and feel robust 🏻
I want to order another pair but that code has expired for me cheers
Got mine in. Seem v good quality to me.
Done 10k on a muddy trail yesterday and were very comfy.
Note 20% NEWYEAR code was only valid 31 Dec and 1 Jan
Bought my Karrimor boots 3 years ago. Used loads including a marathon walk. Still going strong and plenty of life left in them. £24 well spent back then.
