Karrimor is not the quality same brand as it used to be.

The brand name was purchased by Mike Ca$hley aka Sports Direct a while ago, and is now attached to all manner of cheap Chinese tat.

Agreed, worth letting people know that karrimor footwear won't last now, I wish I'd known before I saw what I thought was a good deal on some walking boots and bought 2 pairs of them!

Ordered thanks. Worth a gamble

At this price they are a bargain. But not the quality they once was . But what do you expect for £18 ?!

It's not a gamble, I can guarantee they'll be poor quality

Poor quality, had to exchange my Karrimor boots after wearing them about 10 times as the heel was coming off.

Same price on Karrimor site.Poor quality, had to exchange my Karrimor boots after wearing them about 10 times as the heel was coming off.

Same price on Karrimor site.

Don't waste money on Karrimor (Sports Direct) stuff. Absolutely guaranteed to let you down. In my experience.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll give it a miss.

Hmm, might cancel in that case. Was thinking would be worth it even if they only lasted 12 months...

Bought these last time. 2 months and bonding went at the front. Leaky leaky. They did however refund

Yes, Karrimor used to be one of the flagship outdoor brands in this country. KSB boots used to be ubiquitous, they also made excellent rucksacks and clothing, in fact, you weren’t a proper climber in the 80s / 90s if you didn’t have an Alpiniste rucksack or fleece.

Unfortunately most of their stuff is now shoite

Perfect for gay men!

I nearly bought these until I read on Amazon:

"Cannot withstand even light morning dew."

Pass.

Petrol and a match would probably be more effective

What do people recommend instead?

absolute crap, bought a pair of karrimoor boots a couple of months ago, lasted me 6 weeks, only used for work, split at the edges of the toes on both sides resulting in wet feet. wasted £35, expected at least 12 months out of them. will never buy karrimor again no matter the price

Well you try your method and I will try mine and see who's the more successful

Cheers c9off
Received mine today very comfortable and sturdy, only problem was box had big hole in the lid! I questioned this Via Amazon live chat, they gave me £5 off as good will gesture

If you want a good cheap pair of boots look for some ex army alt berg defenders, best boots I have ever had.
