Nice find

Don't confuse karrimor as a quality brand. They were a quality brand many years ago but they went bust and sports direct bought them out. Everything is now average quality with fake inflated rrp prices to look like a discounted bargain. They bought gelert recently so that will end up the same way.

I agree with andybramley,utter carp

My Karrimore walking shoes are slippery on drain covers so I would not trust them on a to go anywhere over ice and snow.

Awful brand used to be halfway decent, nowadays owned by chavtastic Sports Direct, ergo, I wouldn't pay a tenner for this junk!

Normally this price in Tk Maxx when they stock during the winter for men and women.

Really not a good deal. As stated already this mediocre brand has been turned into a rip off brand by Sports Direct. Every performance product they manufacture is substandard rubbish and I would suggest it is nearly always possible to buy the required product from a reputable manufacturer at a very similar price. Most of these kind of manufacturers update once a year, creating good deals on quality merchandise. Don't waste your money on this tat. RRP is nonsense.

although the above comments are correct in general, these particular shoes are actually very good quality, and have received positive reviews from buyers and review sites. they sold very well at higher prices, and are only reduced this much now because they are old stock now.

My wife got a pair of these and ended up on her @rse because they slip on wet surfaces. They may be good on fluffy snow but not the wet stuff. We left a bad review that was never published for some reason :-)

The on site reviews for these shoes read like a fairy tail. For example, who reviewing a pair of boots would write this > "I have bought a few things from M & M Direct over the last couple of years and each time the quality and service has been brilliant."

Take note - Never ever trust on site reviews, do your self a favour and look for reviews that are not associated with the web site.

This are great for the money.

Remember you wear these in snow. Possibly the easiest of any weather on your shoes (Snow not slush)

So many people on here with quick mouths and slow brains.

BUY THEM FOR CHEAP THEN DECIDE YOURSELF.

Heat.

I had a pair of Karrimor KSB walking boots and thought they were brilliant value for money - this was about 6 years ago (lasted me 3yrs)
has the quality really dropped?

Avoid Karrimor like the plague. The brand was bought by SportsDirect and is used to rebrand low quality goods, they don't design or produce any products themselves.

Truly a wellington boot and a warm sock will perform better than this if your claim is that their usage is specifically for snow. Do some research and see how people have complained how these have fell apart after a few wears.

I trust you brain is able to research that information, but if required I would be perfectly happy to post the link for you.

Cheap tat is a false economy when it comes to performance gear
