Kartell Bloom Lamp

This is a designer lamp that retails at £795, but the usual price is around £550. I bought one of these 2 years ago and they are stunning. At £158 these are amazing including all of the LED bulbs.

Edit: Price has gone up from £158 to £180

Although the colour is listed as Transparent and sometimes crystal, when you look closely these are actually covered in clear polycarbonate flowers which look like crystal.

They take some assembling, but it's not difficult. The LED's are dimmable and I use them with a LightwaveRF dimmer which are known to be picky.3403801.jpg

There is a good video on youtube for these. Youtube - Video

Aren't all chandeliers ?

It's not too bad as all the flowers are quite rigidly fitted, so none of it is loose, so a normal duster or compressed air is enough. The only problem i've had is that i'm 5'9" and the lamp is height is around 35cm, so when it's hung from a normal ceiling, i've banged my head on it a couple of times, although the flowers are not sharp.
OP how did you find putting it together. One one review is hilarious, but pretty damning. The price is rising every 5 mins :-(
I was very tempted until reading that first review, as the last thing I need on my current refurb is something that requires hours of assembly and appears so fragile

Got an electrician to fit the main light. I fitted the six led bulbs. Attached the 12 or so frame pieces and then clip around ~200 of the crystal flowers. Took me 40 mins total to do it and my only experience is lego. I saw that review and disagree with it, hence why I attached the video, and it's the only negative review.

It's not difficult, as the bands have what looks like a tiny coat hook on them and the flowers have a piece that sticks out at the back which you push into the hook, it really is that simple. The only faff really is having to stand on a ladder clipping on the flowers, but it's not hard.

It's not fragile, although it is heavy. Took me 40 mins to assemble.

That's pretty good considering that first review, and I don't mind a challenge, but think I'll pass 😄.
Got it, really pleased. Let's see. OP, thanks for the feedback.
