Bought one on this deal yesterday, and thought I’d buy another today! Cheers OP
Looks like they've been trying to get rid of these, been seeing a lot of deals similar to this but in bulk.

Also new version here if you're not in a rush: amazon.co.uk/gp/…c=1

True . This is the hs100 not New HS110 with energy monitoring this explain the price . We might see more price drop in coming days... however heat added .
This is a good price, but it’s a shame we can’t post certain amazon deals. I bought 3 smart plugs, next day prime delivery for £10.78 total.
Plenty if cheaper plugs available from 3rd party sellers on Amazon though.

I thought the same, but I was wondering why TP-Link gives it another product line name and a new app... plus a new own website ?!

Kasa Line kasasmart.com/
Tapo Line tapo.com/

I just looked around a bit and read that Tapo seems to become the new beginner brand for cameras and sockets from TP-Link.

So I wonder if anyone knows maybe more about this ?

... and if so, what makes them an entrance level in comparison?
As I can not see really differences, beside of them lowering the prices at the moment for kasa and of course the design.

Just another thought about their cameras ( don't know if they are good )
The old kasa camera KC110 is 1080p with 15 fps, but no SD Card, whilst the new Tapo C200 has one with it seems same other specifications. But then the new model of the KC115 has one SD Card slot now too although I can not find the fps for it.

Very irritating. Do they stop the service for KASA kinds soon.. or ??????

Cheers

The deal I got is now sold out, it has been posted on LD. But there are still cheaper deals available for 2 packs at £1338785605-JL5c5.jpg38785605-iNzTX.jpg
Sorry OP, didn’t mean to hijack your post. As sold by Amazon, this is still a good price.
Getting fed up with the bs with Amazon works. I ordered the new one and it said arriving Monday so I tried to change it to Thursday by selecting standard delivery yet it went to almost December. Set it back to 1 day delivery and it's hard luck, my one that was free for Monday mysteriously vanished.

Is there a potential for (more) spyware on say the smart plugs in your image and similar to obtain more information from people? Such as could they hack alexa or google home speakers to gather past search information or even whatever a person says and send it back to 'Mr Daddy' in China etc?

Just wondering if perhaps TP Link and other more known brands have to abide more to laws about what their devices can and can't do.

How much did you pay and for how many did you get in the deal you were able to get? Three for just under £18 seems a decent deal on Amazon. There is a lightning deal today for the listing where 3 are just under £21. I suppose it is worth people waiting and seeing if that deal goes cheaper or not before making a purchase.
I have TP-link smart switches but I would be reluctant to use the lesser known Chinese brands like Teckin etc even though size wise they would be better. At the end of the day you are connecting these devices to your network and the internet so I would have thought anything is possible.
