Was going to buy this yesterday at £30 but glad i didn't as price is now almost half again. 65% off normal price, the price for the 1-PC product is £26.50!

Of course if you're already spending £30 at Amazon you can get it for half price again with 'NETSCRTY' code.

edit: it wasn't for sale at £30 yesterday, I was getting mixed up...sorry!!

I did the half price with £30 thing from Amazon to get Kapersky 2009 for 3 PCs for about £12, bargain for really good ant-virus. I will say however that 2009 version is suffering from overcomplication as Kapersky have crammed it with new features to keep the product up there. Definitely more trouble than 2008.

Back to this deal though, HOT in my book.

there are plenty of excellent quality free a/v / security / spyware product out there. Try Avast ! for a/v, Comodo for a personal firewall, spybot for added spyware protection.

All of these are free, good quality products. There is little point in paying for this sort of thing. Sorry, cold.

An excellent product, but much cheaper here:

Remember its free if your a Barclays Online Banking customer. 3 user version too! But if your not then this is a damn good price and i vote HOT!!

I Think its Hot, in comp mag tests always comes in top 2 and you get more protection then others...

It's a very good price for the product and some people prefer a single solution, paid for, supported system. Kaspersky outperforms both Avast and AVG in most tests. I don't think I've ever seen it receive a poor review. Hot.

AVG is free

Ooooo no it's not ;-)

They add carriage taking it to £21.71

It's not in stock anyway :whistling:

My advice is don't rely on AVG, I used it for about a year and one day got a virus that slipped in undetected, then AVG detected it but couldn't disinfect the files - I couldn't even delete them!

I installed Kaspersky and the problem was solved. Even if money is tight, spend approc £4 /machine on this software rather than AVG, it's soooo much better.

This is a tired old argument that comes up on here every time a Kaspersky deal is posted.

If you want to pay for the peace of mind of the award winning market leader, then that's up to you.
If you'd rather pay nothing and be satisfied with a lesser product then that's also perfectly reasonable.

Now please, let's not have any more silly unqualified opinions. Is it a good price or not?

And dont forget its FREE if you bank online with Barclays for three PCs as well.

As for the others, they are no single solution , IMHO not that great , and no support.

Kaspersky Internet security suite covers 3 PC's for 12 months for either free or between £10 and £17 depending where you go and if you have to pay p+p costs or not

Vote on the deal not the product! I wish we had a dis-rep button.

At least you had the decency to state you voted cold.

However for the sake of a few quid I always buy my Security software, I find it much less hassle and guilt inducing than messing about with keygens.:-D

Get a free Linux distro instead

Thank you very much for this as my son had recmmended it to me and I was going to get som pen drives from Amazon anyway. But, even though my total spend is well over £30 there is a message that says "this order does not meet the eligibility requirements for this offer".
Can anyone help me?
Thanks a lot
