Cheapest I could find but I'll brace myself to be corrected!

Happy Xmas - HUKD people

Pls try to include the price & retailers name in the title, thanks

good find and excellnt product heat and rep added, works well with windows 7

Or use AVAST totally free and one of the best.

and Zone Alarm for your firewall also Free

I find Avira to be the best but £19.99 for a 3 user license is really good. Heat added.

Got this from Costco for £16.00 inc VAT, but yours is still a good price if you can't get access to Costco.

I'm using avast at the moment but you only get 2/3 months for free, I keep getting a message saying my trial period is coming to an end

Kaspersky Anti-Virus 3 user 2009
£12.97 at Tesco Direct
and you can upgrade to 2010 for FREE

Avira is offically the most used (FREE) anti-virus in the world.... it's brilliant. try it. No nag reminders or unnecessary load on your pc system either! I bet after installing it and running a system scan, it finds something on your system

Ditto! I have the same setup (for the same reasons).

it is a good though as most place sell this for £24.99 i.e. PC World

For free antivirus Avast is just fine, though Avir and Microsoft Essential Security are arguably better. None are in the same league as Kaspersky though due to it's added features (HIPS). Probably sufficient for most users though to be honest!

ZoneAlarm's free firewall isn't very good, better sticking to the Windows one with a router firewall or Comodo for the more advanced users. (or coughing up for Kaspersky or similar obviously).

All who bank with Barclays can get the Kapersky Internet Security 2010 with a license for 2 PC's for free (you have to log-into your Barclays account and follow the download link). That's the cheapest way of getting it.

If you don't bank with Barclays, you could just open a savings account with £1, you don't need a current account.

Thanks for the tip, I think I'll give that a try.

I blame the alcohol!
What a fool I am...
Sorry my mistake!

I may get a bashing for saying this but i do prefer to pay for my internet security..My thoughts are if it really is that good why are they giving it away for free because if i created *the best anti virus/firewall around* i sure as hell would want to make some money back from it!!

the free ones have limited cover and features. its a sample, like those bits of pastie in greggs.
its in the hope that you like it and buy the full version

I've just bought v2009 off ebay for about £8...plus there's a free upgrade for 2010 on Kasperksy's site (good for Win7 users!)....so that's 2010 for £8, nice

Great price thanks
