You can use this to activate any 5, Windows, OS X or Android versions of Kaspersky, although you do not need antimalware on Android the antitheft or phishing protection may be useful if you don't want to use Androids built in tools.

Perfect for people who feel safer paying for their antimalware than using a free one like Avast.

Or 3 users free with Barclays online banking

I'd happily pay £24.99 not to bank with Barclays

Been using Kaspersky Internet Security for the past 4 or so years, and typically yesterday paid for a £24.99 3-User code to be sent via email through eBay.. This I didn't see. Sod's Law!

Don't understand why people post a deal then others say "" free with Barclays "". This a standalone offer taking a bank account is not

Thanks, OP. Good find. Heat added. Ordered to put away for when my present Kaspersky licence expires.

I got a current account with Barclays with £0.00 in the account, every year I get a new license which covers my laptop as well as my brothers

IF you only need one license, then you can get it for 10.99 here:

which I did 2 days ago

would have preferred this deal though - hot

just paid £24.99 for the three user..great price for 5 user.heat added.

Why to pay for something available for free? 1st option - free antivirus for windows, 2nd - use linux and forget about viruses.

I don't understand why people are paying for an antivirus when Microsoft Security Essentials does an excellent job and is available for free. It's actually built into Windows 8 if you're using it.

Bummer - just bought and activated 3-user version of Kaspersky from Amazon for same price. Voted hot.

This. All that is needed is common sense when visiting websites, clicking on links in emails, etc and MSE. No need to pay for AV.

This is a good deal for a 5 user licence. I have Kaspersky and have always found it to work well. Re Barclay's I get mine free from them although I keep very little money with them. Other online banks offer free antivirus and of course broadband companies do as well e.g. BT comes with free Norton. I share my licences around friends & family for those who do not bank online.

Could this be a reason not to use MSE ?

I usually buy a older copy of kaspersky Internet security. I recently purchased a new 2012 copy from amazon for about 25, this was five user also. I just downloaded the 2014 software off the site then used my 2012 licence worked fine.

As this is the same price for 2014 five user an absolute bargain, usually 3 user is 19.99 on a special offer.

This is the best anti virus in my opinion!

If I buy this now how long do I have before I have to activate it ?(old ones got a month left ).

Regarding barclays, open a current account for free and then get it through them. You could deposit a £1 or similar so the account status open. Why pay?

I know a lot of barclays customers dont realise they can have this!

Every single Kaspersky deal comes with the mandatory Barclays bank suggestion, the "free AV are just as good and they are free" suggestion or the "go with Linux". People, get a grip! This is a post for those who want to buy Kaspersky at a good price, not to justify they why one doesn't have a Barclays account or why one doesn't stick with free AVs. Stir away from it if you are not interested in Kaspersky.

Thanks sb UK. Nice article. Shall install kaspersky on my me pcs right away.

I thought with a current account you had to show money going in and coming out regularly.
I can't find the T's & C's, but generally its around £500 per month needs to go into the account minimum for it to be a current account.

As for this deal its good for a paid for service, but personally I find Avast free more then good enough for the average user.

Gone for one thanks! Brilliant price for 2014 and 5 users.

Thanks ordered. Just what I've been looKing for!

Kaspersky is a most excellent security suite, and at £25 for 5 user current version is a steal. Check the regular computing press for their lab tests and that will confirm it always comes out top. Being in the industry I recommend it, and don't then usually see my customers back for virus or malware related problems once they have installed it. It's true you can get free AV (I recommend AVAST) but they can't do as thorough job as a full suite, and MSE comes out the poorest of the free AV out there.
We are commenting on the deal, this normally retails between £60-£80 (depending on the offers) for 5 user so the deal is great for the price. I too buy an older version, use the activation from that on the current version, but can't get an older 5 user version for this price, so HOT from me.

This is multi device by title the 2013 wasn't, e.g. put on android phone also. Anyone tried?

why this deal is not 1000 plus heat I don't know.
Cracking deal - well spotted

Yeah same for me. I bought the 2009 version from the Works (Bookshop) a few years ago when they were selling the 3 and 5 user versions for a fiver then downloaded the newer version from the website, and used the license key from the older version. I think I'm just coming up to using the last license number this year and have the 2012 version installed on all our home PC's...

I also do this, just paid £27 for 5 user 2012 edition, it updates to the latest databases anyway.

Don't try to create your own terms and conditions for the Barclays deal to please you. So long as you do online banking with Barclays, you get the free anti virus irrespective of your account balance. Folks can download and use trail version, open a barclays account, sign up for online banking on account opening, never put any money in it and you will get this for free from Barclays.

Because Kaspersky wiped the floor with MSE, and with every other security suite out there in PC Pro's latest showdown (Mar2014 mag). Their false +ve score was also incredibly low.

You don't necessarily HAVE to frequent p0rn sites et al to be susceptible to malware. There have been incidences where legitimate sites are targetted which then perform a drive-by on unsuspecting visitors.

For the people that buy older codes and use them in the new version - the oldest code you can use in the 2014 software is a 2011 code by the way.

All tests show some other antivirus software winning - I suspect whoever pays most - wins. See ADAC case of tyre tests.

My advice: Firefox (or Chrome) with AdblockPlus and NoScript addons, Avast antivirus, regular/immediate patching of software and general practice of not installing crap on the machine or clicking into suspicious links/popups keeps the windows computer free of malware.

If you are unlucky enough to be targeted by hackers exploiting zero-day vulnerability, that's just tough, but no antivirus is good enough to stop it all. Switch to popular linux dirtibution (fedora, ubuntu, gentoo, arch, slackware, mandriva, suse or their derivatives like centos, mint, mageia, manjaro, scientific, peppermint) if you are paranoid about being hacked - much less targeted linux based system (bar android).

I brought this from Amazon for £19.99 a couple of weeks ago. With my current Kaspersky license expiring soon I had been watching the product page daily.

Unless you need it right now. I would keep the product page open in an unused browser tab and get it when it dips down again.

For the record when I was looking I noticed that you can buy it directly from Kaspersky for £30 which is still a good deal considering the level of protection you receive from the product. £6 a device can't be bad.

MSE is awful. Do your research please before making such suggestions in future. Have a look at AV-TEST and you will see exactly what I mean.

And that's just one site which proves MSE is rubbish, there are many more. (_;)
