My first post...but I think it's HOT. Good price for a packaged and free post multi device antivirus. Although it's 2015 it does say it will update to 2016 when you enter the key.

OP, please mod title to say '3 user, multi-device'
Kaspersky Internet Security and Total Security comes up often on HUKD - see previous posts.
£3.33 per seat per year is a decent price to pay.

It's well reviewed independently (google)
no Kaspersky is not in league with the KGB before anyone repeats that
Kaspersky are one of the Tier One Malware firms, meaning they go looking for bad stuff, whereas Avast etc. repurpose others results.

I've been running it on quite a few machines for several years and find it effective.
It doesn't like cohabiting with other AV software - you can get blue screens, so remove these first.

Note for the 3 and 5 user offers, that all licences start as soon as you activate the first, so install them all at the same time to get best value - you cannot e.g. use one 3 user licence to give 3 years on one machine.

Not really a good enough excuse to bank with Barclays.

Will be cold as there are plenty of good if not better softwares out there that are free.

Kaspersky is the best AV out there. If you already have a Barclays account, like I do, then it's free and nothing will beat the best paid AV against a free AV, will it?

that's just not true, plenty of the free ones beat Kaspersky in the tests, a google will show the different reviews, of course some may show Kaspersky as the best but on my 30 second search none did. Just because its free doesn't mean an antivirus is any different to the paid ones, free ones make money by upselling and selling to corporations. The best free ones out there are Avira closely followed by Avast with Avira either comparable or better than the paid for ones depending which you read.

On the other point on Barclays they frequently appear at the bottom end of all customer service surveys and really there is no excuse to stay with a bank with 7 day switching when they are that bad. Only because people stay do companies think they can provide poor customer service.

as your second comment said its an opinion, and that's the problem with all reviews its just that sites opinion. prefer Avira myself

The stats don't lie on protection: Kaspersky has been #1 for years and given you can get it legally for free, I don't see the problem of using it over Avira/Avast!

stats will be different between each company that reviews / tests the products, as said earlier it may be high in one test and not so high in another. yes its free but for non Barclays customers which is what this thread is aimed at, then why pay for an anti virus when you can get the same level of protection elsewhere for free.

Because you can't: Kaspersky is NOT Avast!/Avira. It's better than those free AVs.
good price IF you don't bank with Barclays.....one the best out there IMHO (mcafee is garbage!) I actually use bull guard which 7dayshop sell for £20.00 for a 3 user license.

we could go on and on, that's your opinion and as said there are plenty of other AV review sites that would say you are wrong.
Excellent anti virus, but this has been cheaper in the past. I picked up 5 keys for £6, although I'm not sure if it's still available. Thanks for contributing though, hot!

AVG and Avria? They're really not. Ive saved a company from useless Avira last week, and another using Eset nod32 again got viruses, now on Kaspersky they havent had any problem for 3 years.

Avira tops many tests but in the real world its useless.

I check av-test and av comparitives. Bitdefender and kaspersky are consistently the best, bar none.

Others, whilst high detection also have hih false positives which can cripple a machine, disabling services it needs to run

p.s. Vipre is a new up and coming AV, well worth a look. Its got high deteciotn with low FP. Im trialling it currently.
£69.99 product for £10 - whats not to like

I bank with barclays so get it free, but to everyone else, well worth a go.
