They would say that. The Russians have already landed in the UK in the form of rich Oligarchs. I have no problems with purchasing Kaspersky products. The Russians, Chinese etc etc probably watched you type this comment anyway, so you don't need to buy Kaspersky for them to be spying on you!

If those 10 people are using one device then its a yes. Not sure why you then said you only need 5.

Examples
10 smartphones (ios/android) = 10 devices
5 pcs = 5 devices
5 pcs and 3 smartphones = 8 devices
3 pcs + 3 tablets +3 smartphones = 9 devices
2 macs +2 pcs + 2 iPads + 2 iphones = 8 devices

All for 16.99

Always turn off KSN. You don't need it.
Where are the Russian's are spying on you responses? They must all still be sleeping. We can't rely on them to protect us in

What's KSN? Bought this last time on offer, for £1.69 per device bargain
Bloomin heck Harry!
I've been using Kaspersky for around 9 years now, best Security/Anti-Virus going in my opinion. I prefer to purchase direct from Kaspersky but they are listing 10 devices 1 yr at £55.99 from £79.99. I only need 5 devices but for £2 extra I might as well go for 10 devices!I am going to contact Kaspersky to see if they price match first.

kaspersky.com/ksn

Basically Kaspersky's own securtiy network. The benifits are interesting but probably not needed. But giving access to ksn means an extra layer of vunerability.

Nope, there're awake as I phoned the sales hotline in Moscow using a London number this morning (They still have a London technical base). I've had no problem what so ever with Kaspersky over the past 9 years! I just bought the 5 Devices 2 Yrs package for £22.99 as Kaspersky said they don't price match.

Then purchase the 5 Devices 1Yr for £14.99!

I think he thinking of splitting the cost with a friend. So if they go 50/50 be £8.5 for 5 devices for 1 year

LOL. Any antivirus software, is in its nature a weakness given its extra intrusion points. Kaspersky isn't any less secure than the others. If you don't intend to use a feature turn it off.

One should always think - why should I use this feature or software. That aside, we have had from governments false information about Huawei to "super micro and the grain of sand soc that was inserted at manufacturer time"

Yes Huawei is a risk, because of its ties to the Chinese gov, that can be mitigated and checked, which is already being (even before the latest spat)..

Back to Kasperksy, that whole incident, comes down to ksn and thats something which I believe Kaspersky has worked hard upon to make even more secure. The rest of the comments regarding that incident is misleading. Simply put if it finds a virus or malware/worm then it will take action - that is what happened with the two cases (nsa contractor and NL secret service fuzz up).
JIM1973ANDREWS14/10/2019 11:37

Can you use this to get ten years on 1 device?

No

Any of the 10 machine licences not used within 30 days of the 1st licence being used are lost.

You don't get 10 different licence keys.....just 1 key that can be activated on 10 devices (within 30 days of the 1st device)

They don't expire, so you could store them Yes. But you cannot 'stack' them as such.....Rather just put the next years licence code into the machines when the previous years one runs out

Before I rant, voted hot as a deal.

I don't normally bother with all of these scare mongering comments but hey, I'll bite tonight.

As much as Russia might be spying on people using Kaspersky products, China might be spying on people using Huawei phones (plus Honour and all of the other Chinese brands people buy), the US spying on people through NSA and Windows flaws, Apple through Iphones and Macbooks, Facebook plus all of the other social media sites (and all of the data people voluntarily feed them), Amazon Alexa, Google Home and the rest of the listening devices out there... where do you stop worrying?? If people are so concerned about what governments and global organisations know about you, you might as well get yourself packed and off into the wilderness and live off grid!

I know this used to be the case, but I don't think it is anymore. Where are you seeing this info? I can't see anything on the Amazon page for it.

I activated a new PC last night with a key that was from a 10 pack, first activated in June. Last year, we used a key with less than 60 days on without an issue too.

I'm curious as to why you think it's 'the best security going' ?

Most commercial antivirus programs don't really do anything that free antivirus programs don't already do for free.

I know the commercial versions have Hollywood style graphics and give the impression that there are hundreds of scientists in white coats protecting your device 24/7, but I have a hard time seeing the value in the paid versions for the average user.

Even the included windows antivirus is supposed to be very good nowadays.

Is it 100% that these are not immediately activated once you buy them? When I purchased directly from Kaspersky, that was the case.

Windows Defender is now quite highly rated and it's free, so why pay for antivirus software?
Why doesn’t sky / virgin broadband companies etc: have this security already built in to the hubs to protect customers privacy on their networks? They charge enough per month!
