The rucksack is available on it's own from Warehouse Express for £47.95 excluding delivery, so the tripod only costs you about £11.

The tripod is about £45 excluding delivery on it's own, so you save about £34 compared to buying them seperately. Delivery is £3.99 next day.

As you probably know Manfrotto are the leading brand of tripods.
The tripod has a maximum load weight of 1KG, so designed for a camcorder, compact/bridge camera, or a small SLR with lightweight lens.
It folds up very compact but extends to a decent height.

Are you sure? The description says "SAVE £18.94 on Total Separate Selling Price (£77.94) with this bag and tripod bundle.".

If you would like just the rucksack its available for £35 at amazon. Though they also have the same bag in just a different colour (from what i can see) for £65!

Either way seems a good deal for the tripod and the bag.

I hadn't seen it at Amazon for £35 very good price, might have gone for that deal if I'd spotted it.

Manfrotto 785B Digital Tripod

Model No:MN785B

This is very light weight and not recomended for SLR cameras, only digital compacts and bridge cameras are suitable.

The MODO tripod/monopod series is packed with features leaving nothing untouched. For low angles the MODO offers three leg angle positions. To get your camera down on the ground, the center column easily separates for the cat’s eye perspective. Full height can be achieved in seconds with the easy quick-flip leg locks. Need to attach a different camera to the MODO? No problem. With the touch of the safety button the small, quick-release plate frees your camera instantly. If you have two cameras, one to shoot video and the other for photo, using the same tripod is a snap with the small quick release plate.

The new Manfrotto 785B Modo Maxi digital tripod offers the height you need, but folds up to a compact 43.5 cm (17.13 in). The 785B is ideal for travelling, hiking, sports or even web photo/video applications. It features:

Still a good price though,

I know it's very lightweight and has a maximum load of 1KG, so not really designed for an SLR.

But I found it was ok for a small SLR with the kit lens.
My Nikon D40 and 18-55mm VR lens weighs 740g.

This tripod is handy if I'm travelling, otherwise I use a more substantial tripod.

Expired??? I can only find the bag now for £37.95.... Do I go for this or the Lowepro Primus AW from Wilkinson?

Any advice?

How can rucksacks and tripods be digital? (yeah FOR digital cameras I get it just sounds stupid unless the rucksack itself is some sort electronic gadget)

Anyway link goes to just the Digital Rucksack, and says Total:£32.99 (inc. p&p) when you add it to basket. Search for the tripod and add it too to get Total:£77.98 (inc. p&p). So I too vote expired.

Exactly. Idiots.

Sweet. Ordered just the bag. Thanks OP, H&R added!

its now £29.99 if you click on the link

I've got a Kata DR-467 as a laptop sac and it's a really great bag, could do with a few more internal pockets but if you want a good photo bag this looks like a good deal.
