Don't matter I could of posted that deal too. Cheap heat.

But you didn't.

Your missing the point here.

Are you seriously that bothered about how much “heat” you get? I come here to save money, no more no less.

I personally haven't read any reviews about this model, but perfect commuting bike & engine at a bargain price for a brand new bike. Seriously tempted

This is the replacements for the ER6F, which always had favourable reviews. This replacement looks a lot better, and again has good reviews.

I had the ER6F for a couple of years, and it was a good bike. but the knee's arent so good anymore, and ended up with a cruiser, the Kawasaki VN 900 Custom, which was another great bike from Kawasaki, I regret getting rid of it now. Kawasaki no longer sell the VN900 in the UK.

Any good for a new rider?

I had the naked version of this for my first bike. They are great for a new rider parallel twin engines are very user friendly and not snatchy at all. The engine in this is about 70bhp so quick but useable and smooth. Hope that helps.
All these new bikes need tail tidies..
shame I got an ebike
Thanks for all these bike posts.... making me miss my biking days lol

Yep, so glad I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s.

Definitely, if like a previous post suggests it's based on the old er6-f. The er6-f was my first big bike and was great. This one looks so much better, much more sports bike apperance. Although when you have got used to this consider a Suzuki gsxr-750 they are superb heat added
What's the Euro NCAP rating? 🚑

Just 70HP? Wow, that sucks.

You realise it weighs nothing right? And it is a starter bike. That still good for 60mph in under 5 secs and quicker than most cars

I too had the er6f and honestly not only the worst bike I ever owned, but the worst bike I ever rode. High centre of gravity, hugely prone to tank slappers, mechanically unrealiable, and a stupidly short first gear so in cities you are constantly changing. Think it's a joke they put the Ninja name to this

You must have got the Friday bike.

Never had an issue with mine in the 3 years I had it. Mine was on a 59 plate, which I bought new. COG yes a bit high compared to proper sports bikes, but similar to a lot of bikes of the price range. Gears on mine not an issue, I never really noticed anything bad with the gears. I did test ride a 2013 and the gears were a bit different on that.
navisoul0206/02/2020 21:01

shame I got an ebike

Why is that a shame? I have a few ebikes, and various other electric vehicles. But posting that on a deal like this is like seeing a deal for a 70" OLED 4k TV and saying Shame I've already got a pocket TV.
