This was posted here ~6mths ago and went hot (can't find original to credit OP ) so I just thought I'd post it as a reminder simply because I have been so impressed with it.

It's incredibly comprehensive & easy to use, I find it superior to camelcamelcamel in a number of ways and best of all it's integrated into every Amazon page so you don't have to remember to check. It's saved me a bunch of time & money thus far.

The get deal link is the Chrome extension version but they have alternative versions for different browsers / apps

Main site: keepa.com

-----------------------------

Big thanks to crazyhorse69 for very useful comment below:

" View the same amazon product across all other amazon sites worldwide with 1 click of a button, you'd be amazed how much savings can be had buying the same product from another Amazon site (in most cases especially europe, you still receive your order within 2 working days from ordering)

Set price alerts on all Amazon sites, not just the UK one (can be done in 1 price watch), if any hit your target you will get the alert via your chosen method.

If you've got something in your watch list and there's a lightning deal coming up, it will e-mail you 24 hours in advance to notify you of the deal.

Get a full data overview of the products, look at price history, sales history, last price change, plus loads of other info

Keepa keeps a note of all previous lightning deals and how much they were, great for spotting price trends and genuine reductions.

Get price alerts via, email, twitter, telgram messanger, facebook messanger, desktop push notifcations, RSS alerts

In my experience notifications on price drops are quicker using keepa "

Here is a previous post with discussion on it

How is something you need to install superior in your opinion?

Because it's automatically integrated into every single Amazon page you view, so you don't have to open another webpage and there's no chance you'll forget. Also a bunch of other reasons I can't be bothered to explain since you can't be bothered to read OP

Please prove this one singular extension makes Chrome noticeably (or even measurably) slower oh noble one.

Oh, and by the way, you are welcome to not install it and move on with your life.

Can always count on HUKD comments to magic a Barney out of nowhere

This is great for me - thanks op. Putting together an editing PC on a budget at the moment so this will come in handy. Missed it first time around.

Thanks, tried it, have camelcamel but this seems much more convenient, 'Get Deal' link worked perfect for me. Heat added

Bloatware does not slow Chrome. OK then...

From the other thread you mentioned (and from the top quote), a worse threat:

I have this add-on and i'm sure it speeds my Chrome up, my PC runs loads faster since i installed it.

OK then...From the other thread you mentioned (and from the top quote), a worse threat:I would love to use these extensions but don't forget, once you install them they can see EVERY WEBPAGE you visit... Like Online banking, emails, etc. Just because it says it only gives you data on amazon product pages, doesn't mean the developers physically can't look at (and mine data from) any other web page you visit...and the extension warnings state as such.

Chrome extensions can't just automatically read all the data from every website you visit. They have to ask for that permission and this extension does not.

Any more 'threats' you want to try scaring people with?

Wasn't my threat as I said. It was a quote from the previous thread.

They can if they have code to do so.

I've been using this for years now, much better than 3 X Camels, can do a lot more with it, integrates better into the web pages - alerts are quicker, tracks on previous lightning deals as well which is quite useful so you can see if Amazon are trying to pull the wool over your eyes with the latest "Best Price" 1 click and you can compare the same product price accross all the other Amazon sites around the world to see if you can get it any cheaper, it's something I can't live without these days.

I followed the link and ended up on the keepa site where I found the firefox add-on. Downloaded, and yes, it works perfectly. However, it does indeed state that you have to agree to the data being shared and I am not comfortable about it. I have removed the add-on and either keep it removed or need to look into it more closely to fully understand what is being shared and from where. Having said that, it is a hot deal for those who are not as suspicious as I am and it does exactly what the OP posted, so heat added from me

Is this any better than the camelcamelcamel chrome extension?

I never thought I'd see an argument erupt over methods of tracking prices on amazon... heat added OP

Does this work on android?

Looks interesting - thanks. The extension has a large number of 5 star reviews, so I'm pretty confident that it's safe to use.
Edit: Having installed this, I'm quite impressed. There is a downside which is that Amazon pages will take longer to load (as it has to get the price history & build the graph) but this may well not be a significant issue as this is all happening while you are reading the item description.
And CCC allows you to set pricing alerts which is a great feature.
In short, I'll be using Keepa *and* CCC
Thanks again.

I've got the plugin working on Android using firefox browser with the keepa plugin, works ok.

I installed this on Chrome on my phone, but now want to uninstall it. How do I do it?

You can set price drop alerts with Keepa too and I find they are much quicker & more reliable sending the reminder. Also includes lightning deals with a countdown timer to when it starts which I find exremely useful (can't remember if CCC does that too?)

you sound like one of those guys that rings up to complain about a kiss after the 9 oclock watershed on bbc.

get a grip.

...or install the Camelizer extension in Chrome, Firefox or Safari HERE.

I use this, it's great to see how many of the products I want to buy (which will likely be included in Black Friday) are currently tapering off at higher prices than normal, and have been doing so for a few weeks.

And then of course once Black Friday arrives it looks like a "deal".

What exactly is wrong with you? You seem to make every deal on here you comment on into a drama and argument. Seriously, get a hobby....

It says before you install it that you need to give them access to your data in 29 other domains (i.e. websites). What dafaq is that for?!

Then you need to get one that doesn't cause you to bore the pants off people quite so much. Even Morris Dancing would be a better choice.
