Finding this speaker kit BRAND NEW in the UK is exceptionally difficult nowadays, plenty of refurbished ones & second-hand, but it seems HomeAVDirect have some BRAND NEW ones on offer at £599. These was originally £900 back in the days (2013) and considering the value of the pound then and the overall cost, this is a fantastic price, sometimes newer is not always better, they can be found slightly cheaper overseas but I feel when investing so much its always best to buy from the UK when possible.

KEF E305 5.1 Bundle Package KEF’s award-winning original KEF KHT2005 and KHT3005 ‘egg’ system revolutionised home entertainment with its supremely accurate 3D sound from distinctive small speakers packed with unique technologies. Redesigned to take advantage of design innovations developed for KEF’s most sophisticated audiophile speakers, the all-new E305 system raises the bar even further – at a surprisingly affordable price. Available in deep black or pure white, the silky matt finish is complemented by satin chrome cast aluminium bases that simply rotate to form wall brackets. Beautifully engineered bespoke stands are also available to help positioning around the listening environment.

Enjoy

Even though they are a few years old i think you'd struggle to find much better for the price.

We paid nearly £1k for ours when they came out and I'd still pay that now for them.

Good thing with speakers is that the technology doesn't change too fast so you know that they aren't going to be outdated in a few months time.
At the bottom of the pictures it says "KEF E305 - 5.1 Speaker System + FREE KEF M200 Headphones" so do they come with a free set of £150 headphones as that would make them a very good buy. I just need to measure my currnet fronts to see if these are to tall and im in, great speakers by the way.

The 8" sub with less than 15l box area isn't great however the Linkwitz circuit will help to a degree. I would personally use the sub purely as a behind sofa backup to a more dedicated 12" sub with at least 50l of box area. That said the satalites are great and worth the money alone.

Yep, these have a decent Uni-Q driver which Kef will be invested in for many years to come and work better than the traditional tweeters most companies still use, especially for home cinema. I currently use a pair as rears to my R300s, originally a grand a pair, and they're not at all outclassed.

A BK P12 300 SB at just over £300 will go perfectly and you'll end up with a significantly better system for less than the original package price. In fact, the subs were the only thing Kef made worse as newer versions of the eggs were introduced.

Yes any of the BK range starting with the P12 would be a substantial upgrade.
