This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

One of the legendary Active Wireless Speakers - Usually costs £2,000 new. Available for a stunningly low £1,299 because it is manufacturer refurbished. Also available are other colors at £1,400. An option worth considering, especially for those looking to pickup a KEF LSX instead because of the price difference. Peter Tyson also has the Make us an offer option - never used it though.

Still a crazy price to pay for most for Audio! But for those in the know, this might be worth selling their spare kidneys for...

I have these. Amazing sounds, crap remote and the app is useless unless you stick to the WiFi input but overall a great product. At this price, it's a no brainer if you had been considering powered speakers.
I’ve read reviews that the active speaker beat any combination of ls50 with any amplifier(Naim, Rega) at the £2000 mark. At £1299, this is a crazy good deal.

Can’t believe I’m posting this, but not buying it...
So tempting.
Superb price but the fact they are refurbished puts me off. Has anyone bought refurbished kef products before?
Also available on the site are LS50's(passive) open box at £649, though maybe just 1 qty:

Why you not buying if its a crazy good deal?
Awesome sound, easily beat the LS50's with Naim Nait 5i I had before. I run them directly off my PC so can't really comment on the app, the remote isn't great but it's functional.

If you get the standard 2 year warranty, you have nothing to worry about. Get some stands and they will fade into the background. I got mine for £2200 so you'll crazy not to do some research into them at the very least.
I have a pair of LS50 passive speakers, I used to run them from a Schiit Vidar power amp and it sounded very good especially in a small room and when sitting quiet close to them but as others have pointed out the active version is better overall according to every review I have read on them but have not heard them myself.
Just wait until the surface coating breaks down and they go all sticky. Customer service will blame you for cleaning products despite the fact my mounts were never unboxed and they did it as well!!!
Great price, voted hot

I would mount them on my Atacama nexus stands. I like the black or the white ones for £1400 but as I say I am just a little nervous of going for a reconditioned pair.I wouldn't want a chipped or scratched set. I suppose at least in theory it's not as if these could have been overloaded as the amp is integrated.

Do you not find the LS50 Wireless a bit overkill for PC usage? As I know these are very big and heavy too

Ah, yes. I should qualify that I listen to my flac collection through my PC. It does make games sound amazing though!

You can use these for listening to music from PC? ESPECIALLY the hi res files? DSDs..flac...alac...etc.
I've had these speakers, in this same finish for the past three years & while it sems a good deal, depending on what "refurbished" actually means, the sound although very detailed is quite clinical & maybe not to everyone's taste...would probably suit a classical music rather than metal fan for instance. Anyway, they really deserve an audition before you part with your cash, also the best matching stands sonically are probably those by Custom Design, specifically made for this speaker & they also offered a metallic titanium finish, which is a perfect match for these LS50W's. The android app is a bit clunky, although streaming from Tidal or Spotify mostly works fine for me.

A lot of people probably do use it for Hi-Res audio, but I've heard that the soundstage image is behind you when listening at a PC desk. Apparently the KEF LSX is better in this aspect, as the soundstage seems to be just in front of you.
Got 4 sets for the games room, brill deal
